Hello to every animal mom and dad! My name is Lydia Harvey, and I run this little business! I am 23 years old, and I’m currently getting an Ed.S. degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling at MTSU. I have grown up in Murfreesboro the past 19 years, and have loved every bit of it. I’m a Riverdale High Alumni, and have been involved with a ministry called Young Life for the past 7 years. I am a lover of Jesus, traveling the world, and of course - animals!
I grew up with a black lab and a tabby cat, so my love and responsibility for animals blossomed at a young age. This business started a couple years ago with my cousin asking me to watch her dog while she went out of town for the weekend. I quickly realized how nice it was to do this job on the side, and it let me enjoy being around animals more since I do not have my own anymore. I believe that animals are a blessing to us all!
The average cost of boarding a dog in Murfreesboro at a big company or a vet office is $28 a night, and for a cat it’s $21 a night + fees. These animals are fed, are let outside, but stay in a cage most of their stay away from you, and you won't always know who is taking care of them. Plus, for your animal to stay there, most require that you have them updated with all their shots so that they can be around the other animals. But with me, you are getting quality pet care for your animals in their own space, with undivided attention. If desired - I will stay at your home to give you the confidence and peace of knowing your animals are comfortable and taken care of. I also offer house services, like watering plants, getting mail, cleaning, etc. Daily prices are negotiable - they depend on how many animals, what house services you need, how far I will need to drive, and how many times a day they need to be checked on.
