🚨Fosters or Forever Homes Needed!
If you see this post, kindly drop a comment and share away! We have been getting more engagement on our posts and this helps us save more dogs! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
These 3 girls are in a boarding kennel and are just as urgent to get into a home as other dogs. Yes, they are safe and taken care of but they long for homes. When we place dogs into boarding, it’s meant to be a short term solution to save their life and keep them safe. It’s a time that we learn more about them while we look for homes. They travel with us to events, go on walks a few times a day and go on outings. Both Coco and Penny have been in boarding for almost 4 months and Nala almost 2 months. All of them have been without a real home in quite some time.
They NEED someone to give them a chance! All are great with people! Coco and Penny have zero reactivity towards dogs and Nala has made incredible progress. We have mostly labeled them as only dog. We do this because some people will not take the time to do slow, safe introductions with resident dogs. They aren’t bombproof dogs that can be thrown with any dog. They need work but they definitely show potential over time with the right match. None of them have tested well with little dogs or cats.
Placing one of these girls (or all of them 🐾❤️) guarantees that we can pull a dog in the shelter. You are ultimately saving 2 lives by fostering a dog! We pay for everything needed and are extremely helpful in transitioning a dog into a home. We are almost a 24/7 operation except the few hours of sleep we all get a night.

‼️🆘Urgent Foster Needed!
Nala was surrendered to our local shelter back in January when her family claimed they could no longer keep her. She was adopted out a month ago and unfortunately, returned 3 days later for being too strong and reactive on leash. Yes, it’s much easier to dump the dog back at the shelter instead of rolling your sleeves up and putting in some work.
Our president who also volunteers at the shelter goes every Saturday and works with Nala. They have been practicing calm walks, lots of impulse control, touch command, sitting in place and so much more! Nala is extremely food motivated and she truly wants to please. She needs proper physical and mental stimulation for a young energetic dog. She has come such a long way in a few short weeks and will only get better and better in the right home.
This beautiful girl has passed all of her temperament tests. Nala has no resource guarding. She is UTD, microchipped and spayed. She is around 73 lbs so she does need a strong handler but with the right tools and help from our team, we will have her politely walking right by your side. She does need to be the only pet in the home. She is said to be housebroken and non destructive. Adult home or teens would be best.
Nala is only available for rescue only so it’s the only way for her to make it safely out of the shelter.
Please apply at pittiesandpals.com. We will provide everything that’s needed.

‼️‼️ FOSTER NEEDED!!!! Still no interest for Adele 😥. Adele or Delly for short is young dog just over a year. She enjoys her daily walks and playing a good game of fetch. For the most part she is pretty independent but definitely enjoys having people around. Delly is extra flirty with guys and turns on her cute charm. She knows basic commands and has mastered going into place to relax and unwind. She is definitely in a nice routine that will transition nicely into a home. It’s been a few weeks since she had a focal seizure. In 3 months she has only had 2 so we are hoping it’s just severe stress that creates this. ❤️🙏🏼 She is on medication and takes it like a champ. Adele does have Mitral valve dysplasia which our vet said is likely congenital as opposed to age related since she’s young. This girl hasn’t gotten the memo because she has absolutely no symptoms or restrictions. She will need a recheck in 9 months which the rescue will pay for. The good news about her condition is that we know about it. You can get a puppy or an adult dog and you never really know what medical issues may be seen over time. The rescue will put in an adoption contract that we will revisit care if this condition has any future flare ups or complications. We hope this will give an adopter piece of mind to open their home and heart to this special girl.Adele is pretty indifferent about dogs. While she displays no resource guarding with people, she is more on guard when food or high value items (bones, bulky sticks, toys are not an issue) are in the vicinity. This is a stressor that we don’t want to put on her with her condition. We would only be open to a multi dog home if someone is experienced and is okay with not leaving our resources along with separate feeding areas. She would definitely benefit from someone who isn’t gone long hours and does have the time to practice what she learned at training. Our trainer Lauraine has been awesome at keeping us very
Foster or adopt Oliver 💙 The first pup cup of the season, hits different when it’s 85° and sunny. While Oliver delights in his probably 1st pup cup ever he dreams about his forever family. Do you have a large playful dog? Maybe a super happy golden that needs a playmate? Or a lab who seems lonely all on his own? Oliver might be at the perfect pal! At about 65 pounds and three years young he has amazing happy dog energy and he is looking for, a family who can keep up with him. Marrow bones, roaming the yard, flopping over for belly rubs and going for walks are some of his absolute favorite things. He quickly learned his basic commands and is eager to show them off in a new home, along with his fluffy new cuddle bed🥰 He carries his bed around from room to room making sure he always has a comfy spot to lay down. Oliver is the epitome of an adorably awesome pittie. Could Oliver be the missing part of your family?Apply at pittiesandpals.com#pittiesandpalsrescue #njdogrescue #njpitbulls #njpitbullrescue #njadopt #njfoster #jacksonnj #newjerseydogs #rescuedogsnj #oceancountynj#rescuedog #rescuedogsofinstagram #adoptdontshop #fosteringworks #rescueworks #fosteringsaveslives#njdogsforadoption #pittiesandpalsrescuenj
Adele needs a home!
🌸Foster or Adopt Adele! 🌸
Adele was found tied to a pole and ended up in an inner city animal facility. She was lucky to be freed from the shelter and into a foster home. Adele showed signs of separation anxiety so she we enrolled her in a board and train program with Bucks Dog Training of Central Jersey. It’s hard to come by a home that has experience with this type of issue. The good news is she doesn’t have separation anxiety but rather some protest with spending time in the crate, you know kinda like when your teenager wants to keep extending their curfew 🤣. Needless to say, with a lot of conditioning she has become one with her crate. She is still not a fan but can definitely cope.
Adele is a young dog just over a year. She enjoys her daily walks and playing a good game of fetch. Adele is a silly girl and enjoys carrying around her favorite toys and particularly her dolly. It’s so adorable to watch her happily prance around. Adele loves her people and will rub up against you like a kitty who wants pets. She knows basic commands and has mastered going into place to relax and unwind.
She is going to be one of these dogs who needs to find an Angel who will be accepting of her medical issues. On day 1 when we pulled her she had 2 focal seizures. We thought it might have been a fluke thing but 6 weeks later she had another one. She is on a low dose medication. It seems like if she gets overly stimulated, it might be a trigger. Thankfully she does recover pretty quickly. Further, Adele does have a grade 3 heart murmur. She had an echocardiogram which revealed she has Mitral valve dysplasia which our vet said is likely congenital as opposed to age related since she’s so young. There are no meds recommended and no restrictions. She will need a recheck in 9-12 months which the rescue will pay for. The good news about her condition is that we know about it. You can get a puppy or an adult dog and you never really know what medical issues may be see
Adopt Dempsey! 🩶While Dempsey’s foster parents are away for a week, we sent him for a quick BNT program at Bucks Dog Training of Central Jersey. He needs some manners off leash in the backyard. He has been very jumpy and rude when he runs around and gets overly stimulated. In just a few short days, he has made amazing progress and we are so proud of him!!! We know he will only continue to get better. Dempsey is eager to learn, very focused and food motivated which makes training a breeze.Dempsey is a young boy and very puppy like. For that reason he will need someone who can continue to work with him and implement what he has learned at training. He does well with food puzzles, playing with toys, working on fetch, practicing commands and going on walks. He is crate trained, housebroken, microchipped and UTD on vaccines. He is both dog and cat friendly. Dempsey is a friendly boy and shows extremely well at events. We are recommending an adult home or kids 13 and up as littles will be too much for him. He’s still filling out and is quite clumsy. His adopter will receive follow up training sessions for our trainer. 🌸🌺 Happy Mother’s Day from Brooklyn! 🌸🌺 She wants to wish all the mamas out there a beautiful day and hoping you will share her post so she can have her happily ever after! Brooklyn is about 5 years old and is the cutest little low rider at just 45 lbs. She did an amazing job raising her 5 pups who are all in their forever homes and now it’s her turn! She is currently in boarding which makes us very sad but it’s a great way to get plenty of socialization. She can be a little shy at first but when she warms up she’s all about affection and love. Brooklyn is overall easy peasy and is housebroken. She would make a wonderful companion as she likes to hang by your side. She likes outside time for walks or hanging out in the sun making silly faces. She previously lived with dogs and doesn’t seem to mind them. Brooklyn has never lived with young kids and because of her timidness she may be better suited for older kids.
