Alert!! Veterinarians in WNC are in need of medications and we are trying to help them as much as we can. If you have any unused pet medication lying around please donate them back to the clinic and we will get it to the vets in need.

Update: 10/2- We are still without power, phones, computers,etc leaving us unable to function. You may still pick up boarding animals if you like at 8am or 5pm. Rest assured they are safe and being taken care of!

We will have limited staff from 8a-10a tomorrow 10-1-2024 for clean up purposes if you need medications, food, or animal pick up. We will try for afternoon times as well but watch for updates. We still have no power, phones, or computer access at the clinic.

Someone will be available to distribute already prescribed medications and prescription food from 4pm-5pm today.
Please ensure you have prescription information on hand to provide by either bringing an empty bottle of medication with you or a picture of the bottle you can show as we are still unable to access our systems due to the power outage.

☀️ With temperatures rising this holiday 🎇 🎆 week we recommend taking a few precautions when enjoying summer with your pets ☀️

💦 Make sure water bowls are filled with fresh water, add ice cubes to the bowl, bring collapsible water bowls when out walking💦

🌙 Take a walk at dusk or the early morning to avoid the day’s hottest temperatures 🌙

🏠 Bring pets indoors during extreme heat. If it is not possible to bring outdoor pets inside make sure they have access to shade, water- maybe even a kiddie pool or set up a portable fan. Patio misters are also a great way to cool the yard🏠
