Home safe and sound. Had a great visit with family and some much needed time just the two of us (and the dogs of course). Happy to see that my mother-in-law is getting better every day and will hopefully be moved to rehab on Monday. My mother even made the drive overto spend some much needed time together. Now home and back to work tomorrow.

Well we made it to Buckley, WA in the rv with the dogs and even with the snow it was honestly a perry good drive. Definitely don't miss the traffic on Snoqualmie and hwy 18. Now time with the in-laws and hopefully getting to see my mom later this week.

My Story

WildAspen Fine Art and Crafts came about as a way to express my love of animals and share it with others. I started drawing as a teenager but never really took it seriously. As life progressed and my kids grew up and pursued their own dreams I found myself drawn back to my art.

I grew up showing dogs and have had several different breeds over the years. But my heart and soul belong with whippets. I love the elegance they show indoors and the calming effect they have. Then 5 minutes later they are outside and it is a view of pure strength and power when they run. You will see that much of my artwork is focused on dogs in some manner.

After three major back surgeries and relocating to Montana with my husband I am rediscovering my love of nature and art. While much of my work is currently focused on heavily textured acrylic painting I also work with numerous other mediums.

I’m always striving to learn and improve and I look forward to being able to watch my artwork adapt and grow as the years pass.
