What should I paint for the next print to go to the monthly print subscribers?
You’ve all given me far too many great suggestions but I don’t have time to paint them all.
So, I let the magic wheel choose for me.
I’ll be starting on the chosen piece tomorrow and will go live at 11 a.m. in the private art collectors fb group to share the process.
If you’re not in the group, and you’ve ever got any art work from me before, then you’re a collector and can come on in to watch me - ask me how.
Want details on the print subscription? Link in comments.
Can’t wait ti begin this painting!
All these original paintings are of course for sale.
And more idioms to come - I’ve painted animals for about half the alphabet already (yep, been a busy bee)
and can’t wait to make these into a book !
Link for what I’ve done so far, and where you can buy is in comments
I spoke with fb / meta today about how to run good fb ads
I told them I‘be got an offer of 3 collections of art work, and put the prices down to £5 (a5) and £12 (a4)
Because
1 - great starting point if you’re new to buying my art online.
2 - easy way to keep smiles going with this art in your home
3 - great price point for presents.
They told me:
Start with posting a reel / video. This will show off what I am doing.
So, I made this video and they talked me through how to set up as an ad.
So please - if you see this video doing the rounds, will you like, comment and possibly share? It will help with the algorithms and of course my little business.
And here is video - what do you think of it? Be honest?
And I’ll put a link to that offer in the comments, in case you’d like a look
Thanks for your help!! X
Contrast, details, movement and of course, colour!
Then the background, and a few more details to the cow … still quite a way to go
Here goes the first layer of paint on this highland cow
Answers below please…. Can you tell what I started painting today?
Here’s another I’ve been working on - can you tell what it is ?
And any guesses why this painting is a bit ‘different’ from my others?
A few more details ….. finishing off today… watch out for final version
And now time for a little play
I know I want dandelions, but no idea how they should look,
so may as well have a little play with the paint to see what happens ….
It’s time to paint over these peacock feathers…
Nearly finished!! Just the last few details to add now
