Hello everyone,
I unfortunately must make another call out for litter and wet food for the 5 cats that I am still socializing and until they are adopted.
They are getting big and eating more and using the litter a lot more!
Here is a photo of Peekaboo (who is ready for adoption).
If you are interested in adoption, please contact me at [email protected]
All litter and wet cat food donations welcome!
Thank you all for your ongoing generosity.

Hello everyone,

First of all, thank you for so, so many donations left on the balcony, sent by you, e-transferred to us and we appreciated any can, bed, litter, toys, and anything that would ease along these babies journeys. We also uased the money to sterilize our one year old male, TimTom Billabong who is recovering very well.

We will soon be in need of litter and wet food, any kind since these munchkins can consume a lot and poo a lot!
But today, I am wondering if anyone could send any kind of monetary donation for us to have the mother of the kittens sterilized. We also need to get her SNAP tested to be sure that the kittens are 100% healthy for inevitable adoptions.

We are looking for a goal amount of about 600$. Vetspress lovingly gives us a very good discount, but with consultation and the SNAP test, it will be around 450-650.

This will help her calm down a little too and she will hopefully be up for adoption soon.

Thank you from my dad (John Geraghty) to you.

For e-transfers please send to: [email protected]

For donations, they can be left at my dad's house at 392 Fairfield, in GPK.

Thank you all and please share!

DONATIONS REQUEST!
Hi everybody,
As you know, my father, John Geraghty passed away, leaving a legacy of 6 cats that we are looking after and trying to socialize in order to get them adopted.
In the meantime, they need to be fed and they go through a lot of litter! We don't have enough money to do all this right now so we are kindly asking for donations of wet canned food, bags of dry food and litter.
If you are interested in trying to help us out, the donations can be left on my dad's front porch at 392 Fairfield in Greenfield Park. There is someone there twice a day to pick it up and bring it inside.
If you would like to make a monetary donation, it can be sent to me at [email protected]
We HUGELY appreciate all donations and thoughts during this time.
Here are a few of the cuties that you are donating to (and soon up for adoption).
A monstrous thank you to all who donate and share this post.

Hi everyone,
I have not received any notifications about Camelot.
If you put food out for animals, Camelot may move towards your home and consider you a food source. If this is the case, please watch out for a cat who is regularly long-haired black and white but was recently shaved so he would appear like the photo attached but darker.
He will most probably not come towards you but if you see him, I have a cage trap and a net and will come and try to catch him.
Please share this! I cannot catch him without your help!

"A cat that was previously feral just came to my home. We just got him sterilized and shaved with the wonderful people at Vetspress.
Camelot must have gotten out May 30th when a window was slightly open.
I don't have much hope of him going up to anyone for help since he had been living outside for a year already; however, if you see a thin, shaved black and white cat (head and tail and paws aren't shaved) with interesting shaved markings on him, PLEASE let me know and I'll arrange to have a trap cage there.
He got out yesterday, May 30th, at Prud'homme and Sherbrooke.
I only have this one photo of Camelot.
PLEASE SHARE! I will try to find him, he deserves a home."

Hello animal lovers,
I'm about to start a gofundme account and reboot the Their Second Chance page.

We have been trying to get all the feral cats out of my father's backyard and we've ended up with three adult, and guess what? Kittens! So we will have to raise funds for sterilizing and vetting (blood test, shaving off knots, etc.), ideally some food (but we'll take donations!) and litter.

So get ready everyone! You are about to see some major cuteness coming up on the Their Second Chance page and my page and the gofundme page.

Thank you all in advance for sharing!

Optimal empathy, optimal care

Having worked in animal stores (gag! I know), kill shelters, adoption centres, several self-established rescue groups, and now learning to specialize in cat and dog nutrition (it’s a constant process), I have developed a kinship and respect for animals that grows everyday beyond my 13+ years professional experience.

Every animal is different. Every animal needs individualized care. Being mother to my own menagerie of animals over the years has taught me this, but I learned the hard and fast way in shelters while caring for more than 35+ animals daily. Giving every animal what they needed so that they wouldn’t emotionally give-up in a setting like this is priority, so one learns quickly how to evaluate an animal’s personality and needs. Total empathy and complete attention to one animal at a time is something that I have been able to hone and something that I can provide for your animal.

Petsitting services don’t just mean being physically present! My advanced behavioural understanding of cats and dogs leads to proper socializing, animal-tailored playtimes, and behavioural advice for you if needed. General understanding of companion animals’ physiology allows me to help you with nutritional needs. A broad knowledge of diseases and treatments, regular and irregular ailments, administering medications, and naturopath supplementations are all fields that I can help you and your animal with to provide optimal care beyond the petsitting service.

It would be my absolute pleasure to meet you and your fur family. We must be vigilant for the animals!
