🍂🐾🍁Hi Furiends!❤️ Fangk you for all the luffly messages wishing miself well. I had a check-up this morning and the vet is furry pleased with mi progress. Mi Moo says I need to cut down on the zoomies and kangaroo jumps and be more careful now cus I'm not a pup anymore. I will try.😇 Have a soopaw weekend, efferypawdy!🍁🐾🍂

❤️A little update from Rio's Moo to Rio's Furiends:
Rio has had a bit of a rough week with her back legs. As you all probably know, she has been having occasional stiffness/numbness in her back right leg caused by sciatica, for which she has medication. We'd wanted to wait until our vet practice had settled (following the sad passing & funeral of our wonderful vet) before discussing Rio's future but, on Wednesday, she slid off her little settee trying to retrieve a bikkie which caused a problem in her back legs. She was at the vet's on Thursday and Friday and we were able to discuss a long-term pain management plan, which is a massive relief. It has been a bit of a wake-up call, Rio is an eldery lady now and we haven't a clue how long will be with us so we decided today marks the next stage of her life, "Rio; the Silver Years" and we've started with early Christmas celebrations. This afternoon, Rio got her own tiny Christmas tree (to be decorated) and opened a couple of her presents. The new medication seems to be helping and teatime saw us trying to stop a silly Rio careering down the garden path!!!!😱😵‍💫😬
Rio has bolster pillows, orthpaedic pillows and her cuddlepillars for support, also a handy microwaveable lavender pack to help ease her sciatica nerve. We're thinking of buying a pet stroller too, to take her to some of her fave old haunts for a bimble (she still loves a bimble). We'll keep you updated.
