So this bunny burrito was at the vet today. Poor girl growing old just SUC… well, it's hard. There is a lamp on the counter at Blue Ridge Veterinary Hospital. When it is lit it means someone is currently saying goodbye to their animal companion. It was lit while we were there. We were prepared to face this ourselves (though probably not well). But today was not our day. I feel for whomever the lamp had been lighted. They were feeling the pain that was gurgling just below in me and Bryn ready to spout forth when we learned the worst. No, today we came home with our loved little one. How much time do we have? I don’t know. But I will treasure every moment for which we are blessed.
