Spent some time hanging out with Mr Pistol this evening. He's such a handsome little dude and pretty laid back.

Convinced Ms Ava ( #61) to leave her comfort zone and come out for some play time. She did pretty good! Ms Ava is Pallid Blue.

Mr Pistol ( #68) and I hung out for a while after treat time. He's a handsome little Violet Blue guy.

Mr Whirley ( #82) and I practiced some recall training, but sometimes it's hard to get him to stand somewhere else long enough for me to step away and call him. He likes being on a shoulder, finger, or on the camera.

This evening Mr Pistol ( #68) wanted to come to play. We went to the TV room and tried working on recall training, phrases, and stepping up on command. The full spectrum lighting in the TV room really makes the colors look more vibrant.

Mr Whirley ( #82) tried a little recall training this evening, but he wasn't feeling it, so we just hung out for a while and took some good pictures. We will keep working at the recall training. Mr Whirley is SL Edged Blue.

Hanging out with Mr Whirley ( #82) this evening. We were able to get a few good pictures. He is doing great with stepping up on command so it may be time to step up to some recall training.

Convinced Mr Theo ( #76) to come out and play this evening. Took him to the room we are trying to start Pineapple Guava in so I could take some pictures of him in the full spectrum lighting. He's a handsome little dude.

Took a few pictures of Mr Pistol in full spectrum lighting and a couple of pictures in regular white light. The full spectrum lighting really makes the violet more vibrant. He's a handsome little dude no matter what light he's in.

This evening I was able to coax out Mr Theo ( #76). He normally likes to hang out on the door frame of his cage and get treats, but he was feeling more adventurous today. Mr Theo is Violet TurquoiseBlue.

Mr Whirly hung out with me this evening. He is a well behaved little guy and is doing really well with interacting with the family.

Mr Pistol ( #68) wanted to come out this evening, so we worked on stepping up and phrases. He hasn't picked up any phrases yet, but we're still working on it.

After treat time this evening, I hung out with Mr Tucker ( #79, SL Edged Blue). He prefers being up on shoulder so it can be difficult to get good pictures sometimes.

I was a little side tracked yesterday evening and didn't get around to posting some pictures of Mr Pistol. We had some friends stop by so Mr Pistol was able to hang out with people that he wasn't familiar with, and he did great.

Hanging out with Ms Gwendolyn ( #78) this evening. She is a beautiful Grey Blue. She enjoys hanging out on a shoulder and giving playful nibbles on ears.

Mr Whirley (#82) and I practiced some recall training, but sometimes it's hard to get him to stand somewhere else long enough for me to step away and call him. He likes being on a shoulder, finger, or on the camera.

We haven't been able to put up some safety measures for our Ringnecks yet, so they are still in the house. In the meantime, mother deer left her babies under the cages while she was out doing mother deer things. While it's cute as can be to see the baby deer under the cages, it could just as easily have been predators...the challenges you face in a more rural environment.
