This evening Mr Pistol ( #68) wanted to come to play. We went to the TV room and tried working on recall training, phrases, and stepping up on command. The full spectrum lighting in the TV room really makes the colors look more vibrant.

Mr Whirley ( #68) tried a little recall training this evening, but he wasn't feeling it, so we just hung out for a while and took some good pictures. We will keep working at the recall training. Mr Whirley is SL Edged Blue.

Hanging out with Mr Whirley ( #68) this evening. We were able to get a few good pictures. He is doing great with stepping up on command so it may be time to step up to some recall training.

Convinced Mr Theo ( #76) to come out and play this evening. Took him to the room we are trying to start Pineapple Guava in so I could take some pictures of him in the full spectrum lighting. He's a handsome little dude.

Took a few pictures of Mr Pistol in full spectrum lighting and a couple of pictures in regular white light. The full spectrum lighting really makes the violet more vibrant. He's a handsome little dude no matter what light he's in.

This evening I was able to coax out Mr Theo ( #76). He normally likes to hang out on the door frame of his cage and get treats, but he was feeling more adventurous today. Mr Theo is Violet TurquoiseBlue.

Mr Whirly hung out with me this evening. He is a well behaved little guy and is doing really well with interacting with the family.

Mr Pistol ( #68) wanted to come out this evening, so we worked on stepping up and phrases. He hasn't picked up any phrases yet, but we're still working on it.

Mr Whirley ( #82) decided to hang out with me this evening. He's a laid-back little guy for sure.

After treat time this evening, I hung out with Mr Tucker ( #79, SL Edged Blue). He prefers being up on shoulder so it can be difficult to get good pictures sometimes.

I was a little side tracked yesterday evening and didn't get around to posting some pictures of Mr Pistol. We had some friends stop by so Mr Pistol was able to hang out with people that he wasn't familiar with, and he did great.

Hanging out with Ms Gwendolyn ( #78) this evening. She is a beautiful Grey Blue. She enjoys hanging out on a shoulder and giving playful nibbles on ears.

Ms Lolli ( #70) wanted to go on a little adventure today, so she beat Pistol, Shelly, and Maria to the door and was able to enjoy some play time. Ms Lolli is Violet Blue.

Mr Pistol ( #68) wanted to play today, after treat time. Even though he was vocal a little more than normal, he hasn't picked up any words yet. He is stepping up good and really seems to enjoy just hanging out. I try photographing the birds in front of different backgrounds because the camera seems to change their colors when the background color changes. Mr Pistol is Violet Blue.

Finally was able to get Mr Boo Boo ( #77) to come out and play today. Boo Boo is a very handsome TurquoiseBlue. His new family will be picking him and Roxy up on Saturday.

Ms Gwendolyn ( #78) was first to come out this evening. She is a very pretty Grey Blue and has always been really good with taking treats, but had been reluctant to step up. She did really good today!

We haven't been able to put up some safety measures for our Ringnecks yet, so they are still in the house. In the meantime, mother deer left her babies under the cages while she was out doing mother deer things. While it's cute as can be to see the baby deer under the cages, it could just as easily have been predators...the challenges you face in a more rural environment.
