North Star is a hunter jumper barn run by Frank DiMarsico. It is run by trainer Frank DiMarsico. It primarily is focused on hunter, jumper and equitation riding.

North Star is based out of many stables on Long Island including WindWood Farms, Red Barn, Islandia Farms and Island Hills Stable. Frank trains short stirrup to big eq and beyond. His riders have qualified for Zone 2 Finals, Marshaling Sterling Finals and NAL Finals. His riders have also won at shows such as HITS, the Hampton Classic, Zone 2 Finals, Garden State, Old Salem and many local shows all over Long Island.

We are so proud of Jackie Minto & Avalon C Riley 's Royal Impression for their wonderful few days at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show 2023. The pair had laid down super solid trips earning two 8ths O/F in extremely competitive company. We couldn't be happier with these two. We are so proud of Rebecca Rosen and Cristiano for moving up to the 3’ Eq this weekend and laying down solid trips each time they stepped in the ring. This pair has accomplished so much in a short time and we can’t wait to see them continue to grow and thrive! Frank Dimarsico

A huge congratulations to Katey OBrien & Ettore de Napoli on their Reserve Champion this past weekend at Fairfield. This young horse's first time in a huge hunt field and only his second show in the United States and we couldn't be more proud.

We had a great two weeks up at HITS!
Kassidy Scheuring and Cavalier were 3rd and 4th out of 45 in the Low Hunters and laid down a solid trip in the 2'6" Derby. Denise Hummel Scheuring and Cavalier came away with a 7th & 8th in the 2'3" Hunters and had a great round in the 2' Derby.

A big congratulations to Katey OBrien on the purchase of her lovely new partner Ettore de Napoli. Latte and Katey had an incredible outing at his first show in the US winning the Under Saddle and earning 5th, 6th and 8th over fences in the Modified Adults. We look forward to seeing all you accomplish as a team.

Jackie Minto and Royal Impression owned by Avalon C Riley had a great week in the Adult Hunters with a 1/2/2/5/6 over the Jumps. The pair was just below to cut off for the 3' Derby as well with a super round.

Rebecca Rosen and her Cristiano were 3rd, 5th & 6th in the Novice Eq and were 10th out of a HUGE field in their first ever 2'6" Derby. We are so excited for this new pair and look forward to watching them succeed. Thank you to Mattias Tromp for all your help in making this partnership.

We had a great week at the Hampton Classic Horse Show. Jackie Minto and Royal Impression started us off with a 2nd & 9th in the Adult Ariat Medal & Marshall Sterling Medal. Denise and Cavalier hacked lovely in a super competitive group in the Adult Equitation. Kassidy had the ride on Cavalier o/f in the Adult Eq and came away 3rd. They also came back on Thursday putting in solid rounds in the Low Adult Hunters. Special thanks to everyone behind the scenes who made this week a success. Chrissy Thompson-Janson and Ron for always making sure our horses arrive safely and well cared for & Evening Winds Farm for taking such excellent of our horses at home. A belated congratulations to Avalon C Riley and Royal Impression up at the Fairfield Horse Show. The pair came away 2/2/3 O/F and 3rd in the hack in the 3'6" A/O. They also came away 3rd in the Classic out of 15. Rebecca Rosen and KTS Lanchella had an incredible weekend as well, winning a Childrens Eq class out of 40! The pair also earned themselves 3rd & 4th out of the same huge group.

We had a great weekend up at Hits with everyone getting great ribbons and the horses being superstars. Rebecca Rosen and her new horse KTS Lanchella were Champion in the Maiden and Reserve in the Novice Eq. We are so excited to see this partnership continue to grow! Denise Hummel Scheuring and Cavalier were Reserve of the USHJA 2' Hunter winning their hack class. Kassidy Scheuring and Cavalier were 6th, 7th, and 8th out of a very competitive group of Low Adult Hunters. We love this Mother-Daughter Duo and are so proud of how hard working they are. Avalon C Riley and Royal Impression had stellar rounds in the 3'6" AO's coming away with two 3rd and a 6th in the very large Classic Round. Logan O'Neill and her mount Pico T had great week coming away Reserve in the Novice, as well as Abby Sullivan and April Fool who were 4th out of a huge 1.10 group of 38. Sarah Mathers laid down consistent rounds and came away with great ribbons from the Novice and Modified Childrens.
Thank you to everyone who helped out and made this weekend run smoothly. A great time and lots of laughs were had by all and we look forward to the next outing. Frank Dimarsico
