Due to the rainy conditions, the February 10 & 11, 2024 Cottonwood Farm Dressage Show has been canceled. Please contact show management IF you want your PAID ENTRY to remain in the system for the April show (April 6 & 7) OR if you would like a refund of your entry minus the FoxVillage fee (which is non-refundable). The LVCCDS Board of Directors would like to thank all who took the time to attend our annual year-end award’s banquet and silent auction. It was an immense honor to award our competing members, and highlight their achievements throughout the year. Accolades were given, laughs were exchanged, and memories were made! The annual LVCCDS Good Sportsmanship Award in memory of Donna Enerson will be presented at the Year-End Awards Banquet, December 3, 2023. We are looking for a LVCCDS member who is a good sport and exhibits good sportsmanship behavior, such as having a positive attitude; shows respect to peers, teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents; practices self-control and handles winning as well as loss with character. New Board of Directors for LVCCDS. Your new Board of Directors for 2024 will take office on October 1, 2023. The following persons are dedicated to serving LVCCDS. Your board members are Jean Wolff, Chair; Emani Garrick, Chair Elect; Pearlie Rohrbacher, Secretary; Anita Shore, Treasurer; Jacquie Shuberda, Western Dressage Liaison.
The Board is currently working on determining year-end award recipients, based on scores from rated shows in the 2023 show season. The annual Award Ceremony and Banquet as well as our annual Silent Auction is fast approaching; scheduled for December 3, 2023 at The Grove. Mark your calendars and join us.

New Board of Directors will serve LVCCDS for the 2023-2024 show season. Since there were no additional nominations for Board of Director positions, the board has created a final slate of nominees; Chair - Jean Wolff, Chair Elect - Emani Garrick, Secretary – Pearlie Rohrbacher, Treasurer - Anita Shore and Western Dressage Liaison - Jacquie Shuberda.
As stated in the LVCCDS Standing Rules, ‘If offices are uncontested, a vote of approval of the board will be held at a general membership meeting’ which is scheduled for Thursday, September 21, 6 pm – 7pm. All members are invited to attend the meeting at 4112 Snow Petal Court, Las Vegas 89129. The new board of directors will begin serving a one-year term starting October 1, 2023.

BLUE RIBBON DRESSAGE SHOWS are set for September 16 and 17, 2023. Each day will be a separate show with 2 different ‘R’ judges, giving an opportunity to earn 2 qualifying scores in one weekend. Intro through 4th level will be offered at these shows. Show Manager is Stacie Rivers under Nevada Young Riders, a non-profit organization.
Stacie and her staff are working hard to bring these shows to the Las Vegas Dressage Community.
Everyone is encouraged to enter the shows using www.Eqentries.com. An absolute deadline has been extended to 9/9/2023.

SAVE THE DATE! Your LVCCDS Executive Board is planning the 2023 Year-End Awards Banquet and Silent Auction for Sunday, December 3, 2023, 2:30 – 5:30 pm. Gifts and/or ribbons will be presented to members in good standing at levels of Champion, Reserve Champion, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth places in each division at each level. The festivities will be held at The Grove located at 8080 Al Garrison St, LV 89131, 2:30 - 5:30 pm. Future information will be coming to reserve your spot at the banquet and purchasing tickets for $50 per person.
The Chapter’s main fund-raising event; a Silent Auction will be held in conjunction with the banquet. Please consider donating a basket or other new, unused item to be displayed that evening. Contact Jean with information about your auction donation. 702-806-1001 or [email protected].
