The pups had a quick dip before we left the forest to head out to the meadow while on our way down Sunburst trail this afternoon.

The pups had a quick dip before we left the forest to head out to the meadow while on our way down Sunburst trail this afternoon.
The pups were very curious when I pointed out all the wildflowers and insisted on posing and taking their photos this Wednesday afternoon while we were hiking up Sunburst trail.
Still no tiger lilies but the meadow heading up to Hidden Ridge looked stunning with all the paintbrushes scattered throughout the Ridg this morning.
Jasper and Rooney were synchronized this Wednesday morning as they jumped over the logs at our log jump course while we were on our way out to Hidden Ridge still in search of the elusive tiger lilies.
On our way back down Sunburst trail this afternoon playing in the cool forest and love it when the pups plunge into the creek they get all frisky and excited.
With temps around 22c this Tuesday afternoon we headed up Sunburst trail for the cool shade of the trees and the creek with it’s many pools to play in.
Just a stellar morning on top of Windy Ridge which is now littered with big, bright, beautiful patches of paintbrushes.
We were spoiled again this Tuesday morning with another beautiful day tons of blue sky and sunshine to boot it’s been the perfect growing weather so the meadows out to Windy Ridge are just stunning.
Enjoying the last two upper pools in the forest before heading out into the meadow on our way down Sunburst trail this afternoon.
We headed up Sunburst trail this Monday afternoon and boy with the moisture we’ve had and all the sunshine we were spoiled with all the wildflowers scattered throughout the meadow.
On our way up to Hidden Ridge this morning hiking through the beautiful meadow that’s covered with giant bright red paintbrushes some the size of a baseball.
What a gorgeous Monday morning hike out Hidden Ridge with the rain we received last night the meadow is lush and the paintbrushes are stunning so we were hoping to see some Tiger Lilies on Hidden Ridge but no such luck.
Playing in the cool forest on Sunburst trail this afternoon with the pups dodging trees, jumping logs and sniffing out squirrels.
Wow it felt like summer this Friday afternoon with temps at 21c we romped up Sunburst trail to enjoy the cool waters and shade.
We went out to Hidden Ridge this morning and were spoiled with all the wildflowers and lush meadows.
Wow first day of Summer and what a spectacular day to kick it off this Friday morning with amazing deep blue skies, puffy white clouds and tons of sunshine.
Everyone was so happy this afternoon to be rolling in snow this time of year is a real treat so everyone took a moment before we headed back to say thank you.
The pups were full of beans this Thursday afternoon excited to be heading up Sunburst trail to play in the last patches of snow and soak in the cool pools of water.
Heading back from Windy Ridge this morning in awe of the ridge covered in paintbrushes and how lush the meadow with all the moisture we’ve had in the past week.
Just a beautiful Thursday morning hike out to Windy Ridge with the sunshine pushing the clouds away it finally feels like summer and what a great way to enjoy the longest day of the year.
Still some snow left in the forest on Sunburst trail with the protection of the trees the snow might linger a little longer.
We were curious if there was still some snow from yesterday on Sunburst trail so up we went and the pups were excited so it was hard to get photos sorry but they had a blast chasing squirrels and rolling in the 10cm of snow in the forest.
It was a gorgeous morning on top of Windy Ridge with sunshine finally and very little clouds so bring on Summer because we’re ready.
Most of the snow from yesterday has melted when we headed out to Windy Ridge this Wednesday morning but the pups had fun racing through the soaking wet meadow as the snow slowly gets absorbed.
We went out to Hidden Ridge this afternoon to play in the snow and the pups had a blast reliving winter dreams rolling in the snow or just taking big bites of snow then getting a brain freeze.
The Tuesday afternoon crew reacted the same way as the morning crew screaming as the leaped out of the van running like kids at recess out to play in the fresh snow which seems like it’s going to stay for at least a day.
Wow what a difference a day makes yesterday we were on top of Windy Ridge enjoying all the wildflowers and this morning we’re enjoying a fresh blanket of snow.
There was a spring in everyone’s step this Tuesday morning when the pups saw 10cm of snow they were giddy little kids racing around, rolling and eating big bites of the white stuff.
Wow everything is so lush and green with all the rain we had over the weekend and how beautiful the meadow looks as we approached Hidden Ridge this afternoon with all the amazing wildflowers.
The clouds hung around for the Monday afternoon hike out to Hidden Ridge but the sun did a good job of dodging the clouds to chase the chill away and brighten up the afternoon.

Despite all the clouds the sun popped out occasionally to warm things up and dry off the meadow but the pups were all soaked and happy to be wet.
Plunging and playing in the upper pools on Sunburst trail this afternoon then stepping out of the forest greeted with sunshine and blue skies to the east.
Happy pups this morning on top of Windy Ridge in awe of the blue skies and stellar sunshine hard to believe things will change so quickly but aw life in the mountains hope there’s just rain.
