I regularly have people ask me about finding a Black Russian puppy that "can do it all". They are looking for a dog sane enough to be both guard dog and family pet, beautiful enough to show and with enough drive and smarts to be easy to train and successfully compete in performance. It is a hard combination to find. But Johnna Bradfield at Shadow Quest has puppies left from just such a litter. I know. I bred the mother and co-bred the litter. And I spent time with these kids while I picked one to fit into my pack. My girl, Erie, has 4 IABCA breed wins, her CGC and is ready for her RN...and she was just 6 months yesterday!
If you are looking for such a puppy, take a gander at these babies. They were not groomed for these pics and it was very hot, but you can get a feel for them. Their personalities and temperament are beyond reproach. And they are bred to produce! First two are girls...red and purple. Last four are boys....
