Hope everyone is having a great summer break so far! Membership dues for the Fall semester can be paid as early as now! We will have you down in our records to prevent double payment in the future. We accept payment through CashApp, Venmo, Paypal, physical cash, and we also accept 15lbs of cat food or litter for membership payment. If you are paying physical cash or food/litter please contact an officer for verification. After payment, make sure to let us know via our DMs or email. For any further questions or concerns don’t hesitate to ask!

All of the money collected goes towards the cats and their well being and they love our support (especially with the new kitties being spotted)!

Our sweet boy Pescado needs your help!! His wonderful foster spoke to the vet on the phone where they advised Pescado to be brought in ASAP or his kidneys could rupture or even worse fail. With your help we can get him brought in and get to the bottom of what’s causing his kidney issues!

‼️emergency foster alert ‼️ due to circumstances these two bonded siblings, bo**er and mini, need a foster home asap! these sweet kittens were rescued a few weeks ago, and are very loving.

bo**er is very social and gets along well with other cats, and is the best buddy to play with! mini is at first really shy but once you get her to open up, she is very sweet and loving!

Happy Microwave Monday everyone! This going to be the second to last of the semester! It’s crazy how fast this term has gone by right? If you see microwave today say hi, he might even bless and finals you have! In other news our LAST member meeting of the semester is TODAY at 2:30 at the writing center. Happy Microwave Monday everyone! We hope that your weekend was stellar and, now that you’ve seen the Microwave Monday, your Monday is swell! 😸

For some general updates: The winner of the raffle will be announced soon! The winner will have 24 hours to respond or it will be redrawn :D
Next: the kittens are doing well! They’ve been settled with their foster and we will provide updates as they grow!
Lastly, we are entering the second to last week of officer elections. If you are a current member and are apart of the discord and would like to apply please fill out the form!

Attention everyone! For those of you who reached out to us about the Panera kittens: Here they are! Thank you to everyone who was concerned about them and helped us in catching them! They are with a temporary foster now but if you would still like to foster in the future please don’t hesitate to fill out our foster application. Or even adopt! The other cat we caught last night was the silly boy on the second slide named Lionel! He got himself trapped in a small waste bin and then panicked, ending up on the curtain rod. He will be taken to TCAP soon and re-released! Again, this is only possible for us to do because of all of you. We appreciate every donation, message, and person in this community. Have a good weekend and we’ll see you on Monday with another Microwave Monday!😸🫶

Meet Microwave!!
For those of you that haven’t gotten a chance to know this handsome man, here are some facts about him! He goes by Apollo and Professor Sprinkles occasionally and he can often be found around the CRB and CPB waiting for food or wanting to be let in to teach his classes.
Microwave asks us to remind you that if the professor is 15 mins late to class that does NOT mean you can leave. More often than not, it means your professor is outside waiting for someone to open the door for him.

Today is the LAST DAY OF CLASSES!! Microwave wishes you all well on your holidays and reminds you to come by and say hi before you leave :D

In other news we are in need of some WINTER FEEDERS if you, or anyone else you know, lives near campus and would be able to help out with feeding over the break please reach out to an officer. ❄️

We will not be having any more events for meeting for the rest of the month. Catch us at the start of the year for our first meeting next semester to be announced in January!

Lastly, we from the CCC want to thank everyone for assisting us this year. If you supported us in any way we are so very thankful for you!! People who are passionate for what we do is why we are able to keep going and giving these cats the best possible lives. ✨😻

Happy last Foster Friday of the semester! Meet Eevee, she is another one of our new additions! She was rescued over the course of a month by a few of our officers from the Allan Saxe Softball Field. If you are interested in adopting her check her out on our website. Also, our LAST MEETING of the semester is Monday the 4th. We will be watching a movie that the club votes on after the presentation. Please join us in Preston 201 if you can!

As the winter approaches, our campus cats will be looking for warmth! One of the most common places they stay at is underneath cars and in between the tires. Please be wary of this information and check you car before driving off for the possibility of a cat being there! We want to make sure they are safe, for more information check out this article! 😸

We have recently had an increase in instances where people have reached out to inform us about a cat that had recently passed away on campus. We want to remind everyone that any dead animal, no matter what, should never be touched without personal protective gear. We want everyone involved to stay safe and healthy so we prefer when someone reaches out to us directly as soon as possible. The most direct way is via DM on discord!
