We have a beautiful bonded trio who’s been waiting for a year and half for their forever family!
These three big gorgeous girls were spared a certain fate when we rescued them from a nasty meat breeder.
We hope everyday that they can find a forever home with the space and love that they deserve🙏🏻

Meet Seth and Lex!

Seth the stunning Lionhead prefers to chill, and Lex loves to bounce around and keep things interesting. They’re incredibly friendly and adapt to new environments easily, but not big on snuggles.
These two gorgeous boys have been in foster for 16 months and we really hope they can find a loving "forever" family before their 2nd birthday in Jan 2025.🎁🎁

Being rescued from a meat breeder at a very young age where they were confined in a small cage, they tend to get a bit anxious when confined to their expen, so it’s essential that they have their daily free roam time!
They’re bonded like glue so must be adopted together.
So, if you’ve got room for two bunnies with a whole lot of heart, check them out here:

“Meet Evie and Stevie!
These two big beautiful girls and 14 of their siblings were rescued from a meat breeder that was thankfully shutting down.

Evie is a laid back Lionhead beauty with the most stunning white fur. Her bond mate Stevie, is a very shy but oh-so-sweet once you get to know her. They love their mealtime dances and sharing gentle pets with their favorite humans. This sister act has been waiting for so long for their forever family and we really hope they can be home for the holidays🙏🏻

Hi there, I'm Grayson! 🩶

I’m a little guy with a big heart who loves to groom every bunny I meet. I love attending Romp & Spas and Yoga Events - you’ll find me socializing with other bunnies or hopping up on people’s backs!

One of my favorite things to do is explore! I love to find little nooks and crannies to hide in, hop up on the couch, or zoom down the hallway.

I’m learning to trust again after being abandoned by my previous owners. I have a big personality and a lot of love to give once I warm up to you, so if you bring the patience, I’l l bring the zoomies!

A post from one of our amazing fosters:

“In 5 years, over 35 fosters have come through my home on their rescue journey, each with their own heartbreaking story. More than half of them were dumped, some were “unwanted” in their previous home, others were critically ill. All deserved a chance, and that’s exactly what Rabbit Rescue of MN provided. There are currently 100+ rabbits in our rescue at present and that comes with a VERY HEFTY price tag. 💰 Please GIVE TO THE MAX to help us provide them with the care they need”

We’re behind on our stories for today because even on Give To The Max Day rescue never stops.

These two stray pick ups came into the rescue today and unfortunately it was too late for one of them. We rushed them both to the ER to no avail.
Rest peacefully Pumpkin, we tried🌈 and we’ll take good care of your brother we promise.
Welcome to the rescue Butterscotch.
Give To The Max Day helps us immensely every year with our medical bills and supplies.
Please give if you’re able.

TODAY IS THE DAY!
It’s Give To The Max Day” and here is just one more story to encourage your charitable giving this season.

Meet Blackjack, this sweet little soul was found wandering outdoors doing his best to survive prior to coming to the rescue. He was battered and flea infested upon intake and to add insult to injury as they say, yesterday at his neuter appointment, Dr. Gates at Bush Lake Pet Hospital found and removed an air gun bullet located between his skin and ribs, near his heart.
These are the cases that remind us how utterly cruel life can be to dumped and unwanted rabbits.

Please keep this little guy in your thoughts and give generously this GTTM day to help us continue saving rabbits like Blackjack.

Rabbit Rescue of MN was contacted to rescue a total of 8 rabbits that were dumped on the property. They were going to be shot if no one stepped up to rescue them. When we arrived at the scene, only 4 were still alive and were safely captured. 2 stayed with RRMN and 2 went off to our friends at Ruff Start Rescue
Please give to the max to help us make more happy endings. https://www.givemn.org/story/A4u4mf?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR3glOwRtUlKCQWZOnLJczXGhBTAA0k3VVwJd4sJkegjTG-en4Zm8CvZ_4Q_aem_bOwgiB0jvTG1JjeejtSH8Q

On a Mission to Help Those In Need

Rabbit Rescue of MN is a 501(c)3 non profit rescue. Our mission is somewhat different than that of many other rescues as we take in sick, abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted domestic rabbits as well as rabbits from the public that are no longer wanted. We fundraise in order to get proper vetting and then focus on rehabilitation to ready our rabbits for their furever homes.

We are 100% volunteer based and have no paid staff. All of our rescue rabbits are cared for in private foster homes where they are properly housed and receive love and socialization. We do not advocate housing our rescue rabbits in pet stores of any kind. Prior to adoption we screen our applicants thoroughly including a background check and a visit of our applicants home to insure that our rescue rabbits will be properly housed in a well ventilated, well lit and space appropriate area. Included in our mission is education about proper housing, diet and medical care for first time rabbit families.

Our rescue rabbits are all spayed, neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. We pride ourselves on informing the public that domestic rabbits are “Exotic” pets/ family members and require very specific care, medical needs and housing as well as a space in the home where they can be part of the family.
