Please lets all work a bit harder and help this pup find a forever home:
This sweet gentle giant is Rocky, and he's one of my heart dogs.
Rocky is a super social dog who has never met a stranger. He loves kids and takes treats gently. He's had a cat test and did well.
He could live with a dog savvy cat easily.
Rocky is eager to please and highly food motivated.
An older dog….he's probably 4-6 years old and weighs around 80 lbs. He's thick. He's mannerly. He's perfection!
These are beautiful pictures of Rocky, but they break my heart because I haven't ever seen this look in his eyes before. He's always so happy and he's still happy when he sees people, but I see the sadness now in his eyes. He's been in the pound for so long and he's losing hope.
He yearns to be with people more than he yearns to live and that can cause a dog like Rocky to grieve themselves into the grave.
I love Rocky with all my heart and I refuse to lose him to sorrow.
There MUST be a rescue somewhere in the US with room for a giant lap dog. There MUST be an amazing adopter out there looking for a loyal boy like Rocky, who will love you with everything in his body.

His life is literally depending on us finding his miracle.
A Journey Home will rescue this boy if anyone is interested in adopting or fostering him.
