I'm willing to let this guy move on.

Wine Country Tommy Two Toes, GA/W Coronet Boar. He actually has 3 toes, but Tommy Three Toes just didn't stick. 🤣🤷 His momma was a little too zealous in cleaning when he was born. He's not showable. I was holding on to him for a breeding prospect and I was worried he might be the only baby I could keep from this pairing. His mom has since had another litter and I have a lot of nice boars, so I'm willing to share. He's very nice.

For the first time in years, I had two silkies born in my broken Coronet program... Recessive genetics are fun! 🙄🤷😆
I didn't manage to get pics in my hurry tonight. The GA/R/W sow is super cute!

Cavy show in Enumclaw, WA today. Wine Country Wooly Bully was Best in Show under Judge Tracy Jarvis. Thank you to Linda Loucks for keeping him in coat, driving him there and showing him along with your beautiful silkies. Also congrats to Janelle Reid on her RIS with TSW Wine Country Freckles. He looks fantastic!

Wine Country Wooly Bully made his grand appearance at ARBA convention in Louisville, KY yesterday. He didn't win big but I think he gave the other boars a run for their money! Thank you Linda Canfield Loucks for taking excellent care of him and Nicholas Windsor for the pics! Also huge congrats to Linda on her RIS win with her beautiful silkie sow. Linda also had Best of Breed Coronet with a Moose grandson. ♥️ Dana Kolstad had Best of Breed Teddy and Teri Jordahl Best of Breed Teddy Satin!

Oregon Cavy Breeders Society show was yesterday and it was a good one! Lots of kids and kid activities and a nice sized show at 160+. I was fortunate to have Wine Country Wooly Bully (GA/W Coronet Boar) get an honorable mention from judge Jason Whitehurst and Reserve in Show under Judge Linda Loucks. As I mentioned in my other post, I brought home some Texels. The GA/R/W sow is a really curious and sweet girl. She was peaking at me in the carrier yesterday. Too cute!

Thanks Kat for the picture edit! Swapping it took out my Texel girl pic, but oh well! Pick your battles, right?

UPDATE: Black Sow has found a new place.

A few cavies coming with me to Creswell, Oregon show this weekend that could move along should anyone be interested. No transport to Convention at this point, sorry.

Wine Country Buster (born 5/2/24), Black Roan Coronet Boar. Wine Country Hawaiian Time (Black Roan Coronet Boar) X Wine Country Pinotage (Black Silkie Sow). Buster isn't one I really want to go, but I have a lot of boars in my roan program right now so he can move on. Has very good texture and good density. Solid body under that hair. He does have a little bit of staining. A negative with this guy... he drinks a ton of water... He keeps his wraps in well though.

UPDATE: Has found her new place - Wine Country Black Silkie Sow (born 9/24/24). Wine Country Wookiee (TS Silkie Boar) X Wine Country Sparkles (Black Roan Silkie Sow). This little girl is only available because she has some stray white hairs on her belly. She's a little cutie though! (excuse the dust in her picture, my phone decided to hone in apparently)

Wine Country Hess (born 9/2/24), GA/R/W Coronet Boar. Wine Country Bullwinkle (Blk/W Coronet Boar - Moose son) X Wine Country Roscato (GA/W Coronet Sow - full sibling to Legal/Sweet Cheeks). His main body red patch has some intermixing with the agouti making it look a little muddy. This guy has great genes behind him and lots of coat, but his coronet is either swirled or has a small double in it. Its not a DQ, but something I do not want to keep for my program in the long run. He's a fun boar and could make a great pet.

1. Coronet Boar, Golden Agouti & White. Born 8/9/2024. Wine Country Louis Vuitton X Wine Country Sweet Cheeks. This is the first litter from Sweet Cheeks. She gave me 2 boars and I like the other one better so I'm willing to pass this one on.

2. Coronet Boar, Golden Agouti & White. Born 8/5/2024. Wine Country Legal X Skillman's Rose. This litter was born prematurely but has made great strides to catch up and are growing well.

3. Coronet Boar, Golden Agouti & White. Littermate to Boar #2 above. I think this guy has the best type in terms of shoulders matching hips and being smooth over the hindquarters. Really nice center to his Coronet.

4. Coronet Boar, Golden Agouti, Red & White. Born 8/22/2024. Wine Country Legal X Wine Country Claret. Super flashy baby and one I'm not sure I should sell... I like his brother better and also have a sister I'm keeping.

5. Wine Country Nero, Coronet Boar, Golden Agouti & White... and Red.... Born 6/10/2024. Wine Country Bullwinkle X Wine Country Fire Burning. A boar I was keeping and showing and I just spotted red in his coat when I was going through babies. Not enough to show and it is more obvious now that he has grown out. Has excellent texture and good density. Really tidy Coronet, although may be a little front heavy. Dilute Carrier

6. Wine Country Biggs, Coronet Boar, Golden Agouti & White. Born 6/27/24. Wine Country Legal X Paradise Poppy. This is a big boy. Definitely growing body first. A bit wider in the hips than shoulders. Coat is looking promising and I like his Coronet.

* Wine Country Claret: GA/R/W Coronet Sow. Moose daughter. Showed the same time as Legal who regularly beat her. Still was a really nice sow that I almost sent with Legal to ARBA Convention. This is only her 2nd litter. Her first baby is my current Sr. Sow I'm showing and she is lovely. This litter are full siblings to her.
* Wine Country Sweet Cheeks: GA/W Coronet Sow. My absolute favorite sow. Easy to show, super sweet, great size and type and beautiful Coronet. I want her to basically clone herself. 4 BIS, 2 RIS
* Wine Country Fire Burning: Dilute Agouti & White (Lilac base/Orange tip) Coronet Sow. Showed nicely and very, very pretty.
* Skillman's Rose: Blk/W Coronet Sow: Lovely sow I purchased from Mai Skillman. Really nice coat and black color.
* Paradise Poppy: Blk/W Coronet Sow: I purchased this sow from Cathie Heinrich and has produced really nice babies. Her son from her first litter won BIS & RIS. Out of Avery & Pordon lines.

Legal, Sweet Cheeks & Fire Burning are all full siblings. They are also full siblings with Wine Country Jaxon who was BOB Coronet at 2024 ACBA Specialty.
