Negative Coggins Test is required for ALL animals coming onto the showgrounds and must be (physically) presented to the Show Secretary or office staff at the time of check in.

For those that are coming out to join is at the September 8th East Coast Ranch Riding Show, we will have your day end ribbons available.

If not, please send us a message if you would like your day end ribbons mailed and to what address. For those with multiple riders in one barn it would be helpful if we could mail them all to one address.

And even though tomorrow may be the last pleasure show of the season, the work is just beginning as we now shift gears to tabulating year end points for our Banquet and Awards Ceremony.

Does Anyone have SHRC ribbons you don’t know what to do with? If they are in clean condition with no writing on them, you could donate them back to the club to re-use for next year. We will have a take back bucket at the office tomorrow if you would like to donate back any ribbons.

***PARKING REMINDERS***

The roadway in the front of the office along the long side of Ring 1 will be blocked off to motorized vehicles, except to those with pre-authorization. All other vehicles, trucks and trailers should use the first parking entrance (event parking signs will be posted) to access the field and parking.

All cars should be parked along the fence line or on the hill. Parking around the show office is reserved for show staff and judges only. Please leave at least one trailer spot between the show office and the first trailer coming in. For those requiring handicapped accessible parking, please have a representative contact a member of the board directly and we will instruct you as to where to park and how to get onto the show grounds without risking spooking any of the horses.

The show grounds are open by 6:00 am so if you wish to get a "good" parking space or require more room to maneuver feel free to come in before the crowds.

**MODIFIED AUGUST 11th CLASS LIST**

In July we experimented with running a one ring show. We had a lot of great feedback and it helped to make our day run more efficiently. It greatly alleviated having so many class holds due to competing rings.

For the August 11th show we will try a modified version of that class list and run 2 rings. Attached is the modified class list for the August 11th show.

One important piece of feedback that we have been receiving from Judges is exhibitors not being ready and how long it is taking folks to make their way to the ring which is holding up the Judge closing the ring.

How can you help you ask???
Watch your class list, listen to announcements and be ready at the in-gate and checked prior to your class. For example: If we just announced placings for class 3, and you are class 6 you should be making your way to the in-gate and checking in with the gatekeeper. If we just announced placings for class 3 and you are in class 4, you are already late for your class.

We appreciate everyone that comes out and supports our shows. Without each and every one of you, our shows would not be possible. But we want to ensure a fun day is had by all and that we get you all out of there at a reasonable hour.

A great opportunity to hear what Judges are looking for directly from a well respected Judge in our industry.

Want to hear directly from a Horse Show Judge?
Tomorrow night I will talking about Open Horse Shows including rules, tack, apparel, scoring and what the judge is and is not looking for.
I will also touch on dressage and western dressage since they are gaining popularity in online open shows.
You also get to ask questions!
As the presenter, I hold 6 judges cards, have judged approximately 250 shows from the local to national and world levels.
This is your chance to get a winning edge with knowledge!

Thank you to our Judges, Steward, scribes, volunteers, office staff, announcer, photographer and of course our exhibitors and their families for another fabulous show!!! Without each and every one of you, our riding club would not be possible!!!

Final Results will be posted soon along with updated point standings. Please be patient as a few of the us are showing this coming weekend at The Paints in the Pines and may need an extra week to get everything updated.
