***Specializing in hard to fit Italian Greyhounds as well as any small dog under 20 lbs***I have been sewing since I was a young child, so after finding only ill fitting, dull and boring harness vests for my 6 Italian Greyhounds, I decided to just make them myself. Because Italian Greyhounds have such a unique build, with most generic harnesses, they are able to back right out of them. When I dec

ided to make and sell my Harness Vests, my objective was to produce a quality product that was custom made to fit each dog based on their weight, neck and girth measurements, as well as offering over 350 fabulous print fabrics. I get my Hook and Loop from Uline Industrial. All Hook and Loop are not created equal. Uline products are made for industrial applications and are much stronger than the Velcro, industrial hook and loop. When you "lock" the hook and loop, by evenly pressing across the surface, the only way it will come apart is by taking one edge and ripping it apart. If a dog wiggles in any direction...it won't come apart. You have to tightly grab an edge and it has to be evenly pulled apart...

The Hook and Loop is so strong that with the grab handle that is on either side of the vest, you can quickly pick your dog up if need be. The D rings I use are heavy duty, nickel welded, and 3/4" in size.

****As with any harness/collar....it must be fitted properly and secured by the owner, who must be sure both sides of the hook and loop are secure. I include directions and care instructions with every harness. The Owner has to take a moment to match both ends up of the hook and loop, and not just quickly slap both sides together and not press to "lock". Owner must inspect your Harness Vest frequently for wear and tear. I cannot guarantee 100% safety. I include a Fitting and Care card with every vest so that the owner will know how to properly fit the vest onto their dog. If you visit Dog Parks or attend Play Dates, by wearing his/her vest, you will not lose track of your dog in a crowd.

***Licensed Fabrics; I am not affiliated with any Licensed Fabric. Harness Vests made from Licensed fabrics are custom made for a particular dog, to fit that particular dog. As with all of my Harness Vests, they are never mass produced and sold. You are paying for my labor only, to make a Harness Vest from a Licensed fabric, and not for the purchase of that particular Licensed fabric.

***If you don't see a fabric that you like, feel free to mail me the fabric of our liking...but please contact me first so that I can tell you the best type of print to get for your vest. 100% cotton only. If you are are looking for a particular Theme based print...I can help find one for you.

***Tag Collars; TAG collars are meant to display your pets tags only. They are NOT meant to be used as walking collars to be attached to a lead
Cost: $12.75 per collar, which includes Domestic Shipping via USPS or $8 when ordered with a Harness Vest. All Tag Collars are custom made as per your dog's neck measurement. Small Dog "Tag" Collars are 1/2" wide, with a PolyPro webbed core, covered with any Cotton Novelty or Micro Cord fabric of your choice. I use 1/2" contoured, heavy duty, side release buckles & tri-glides, for adjustment. I use a 3/8" "D" ring, to hang the tags on, for a low profile on the collar, as I know some dogs like to chew on their tags if they hang too low. These "Tag" collars are meant for a dog to comfortably wear 24/7. They are soft and lightweight with no sharp edges. I do not advise that these collars be used as walking collars, to be attached to a lead. All I need is the measurement around your dog's neck.

*****Collars can be made out of ANY fabric EXCEPT the Denim fabrics. Harness Vests run $24.00 per vest, plus S&H via USPS First Class ground mail/ U.S.A Domestic. UPS/Fedex available upon Request. I can also ship FedEx third party if you have a FedEx account. If you live outside of the USA, I will also ship via USPS and let you know the fee by checking on the USPS website. Your Harness Vest will include a print on one side and a solid color on the reverse side. It will include one "D" ring at the base of the Harness Vest. If you prefer the "D" ring at the neck I can do that for you. However, do not use the Harness vest to secure your dog in the car if the "D" ring is at the neck. I can also ADD an additional "D" ring so there is one at the base and the neck for an additional $0.50 cents. I do NOT use a Print fabric on both sides as the print fabrics can be limited and hard to come by....many that I have are no longer available. A little post about the solid colored, 21 wale Corduroy fabric that I offer for the reverse side of my vests.

About 10 years ago, I used to be able to purchase this fabric at my local Joann Fabric store, using my coupons to keep the price of my vests to an affordable price. Then, I started to notice that many of their 21 wale corduroy stock, was ending up in the Clearance isle...not a good sign. So, I started to travel to the south Florida stores, on a weekly basis, buying up whatever color I could find. I also started to purchase these same corduroy solids on two online vendors.

For all these years, I have been using up my stock that was purchased at Joann Fabric. Then, my two online vendors shut down their stores. Now, whatever I can find is on Etsy and very expensive along with their shipping.

I knew this day would be coming. I still have many colors available..but my most popular colors are dwindling down, and some are now completely gone, like Bright Teal.

What to do....I could try going to a colored Duck cloth, which would still give me the pretty colors and be thicker than just colored cotton....and I may get some of the more popular colors..Like a Bright Teal..but only if I can purchase them locally, like at Hobby Lobby or Joann.

My number one choice has always been using Denim, in a light wash, medium wash and indigo, for the reverse side of my vests. The cost for denim is high...but I can usually buy it with a coupon or on sale, and pick it up myself, which again keeps the price of the vests down...as most of my clients have more than one dog. The embossed denims I have and the sparkle butterfly denims are sadly not available to purchase..so once those are gone, it's gone forever. I've had that inventory for well over 12 years...

What I like about denim....it's very durable, goes with any print, and fur won't stick to it, like with the corduroy, making it easier to vacuum off or lint roll. There are no down sides to denim.

So, Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on what is going on, and why you might not see your favorite colored corduroys in my Albums anymore. I love making my little vests for small dogs, and especially Italian Greyhounds worldwide, and for IG Rescues.

Just a quick life update~Benjamin is almost 3 weeks old now, and baby, Mom & Dad are settling into life as a family of 3.

I've decided that after July 4th, and the weekend that follows, I will once again resume sewing.

Anyone who would like to submit and order, that order will be put in my "Pending Que", and then I will review and only invoice the July 4th weekend, so that after the weekend, I can start right up with any new orders that might come in and paid for.

Please remember that you will see more lost dogs listed the day of the 4th and the days that follow. Keep your pets inside, in a room with music or a TV on, without access to an unsecured outdoor area. Check your fencing for any gaps or holes that have already been started. Most of all, dogs do not enjoying going to Firework displays with their people...just leave them at home, in a crate if need be, because of anxiety...go out, enjoy the evening, knowing that when you come home, your pet will be safely at home waiting for you.

Look at my two IGs, Zoey and Stella, laying on the pillow.....who could care less. All the IGs have been great with Sadie...they let her come up to them, pester them, and they don't feel threatened, because they knwok she is a puppy. Lily, who is almost 4, gets frustrated because the other IGs, can't play like she wants to play. LIly is very happy to have someone play Tag with her.
