🌟 💜 Haylee, a sweet and loving pup who is still searching for her forever home! 🌟

This charming girl has had a few meet-and-greets but is still waiting for the perfect match to come along. Haylee is looking for a home where she can be the star of the show as an only dog, but don’t worry—she gets along great with cats and loves children!

Haylee is a sweet and loving girl who's patiently waiting to find her forever home. After raising her adorable pups, it's her turn to experience the joy of a loving family.

She is a real cuddle bug who thrives on affection, and is always ready to snuggle up with you either on the sofa, or sharing your bed.

This lovely lady loves going for car rides, and taking quiet walks along the beach.
She can get quite anxious with lots of noise or activity, so a quieter household is preferred.

Haylee would be happy being an only dog so she doesn't have to share the affection of her humans, and she is quite happy to spend some time alone when her family heads out for the day.

Come meet Haylee and see if she could be your new best friend!

"Cayenne: Your Loyal Companion!"

Breed: Belgian Malinois
Age: 6 months
S*x: Female
Dog friendly: ✅ with a slow introduction

Toilet trained: ✅
Location: Hervey Bay, QLD

Meet Cayenne! Our Belgian Malinois pup who recently came in to our care from a farm. Cayenne had begun to learn that some farm animals are super fun to chase! Oops! This means Cayenne is not suited to farms, livestock, nor small children.

Since being in our care - no livestock in our foster homes! - we've noticed Cayenne is quite the smarty pants. Head tilts and eye contact, always learning. Trainable without treats. Loyal to her human. She is calm wrapped in chaos, and will stop in the midst of any puppy shenanigans to get some soft cuddles with you. She is playfully mouthy, due to both breed and age, and would not be suitable for small children. Attention is hypnotizing to this eager learner. She is anxious in new situations, especially new people, and would do exceptionally well in further training.
Cayenne is best suited to an experienced owner, someone who is very confident in their dog training skills and specifically seek a trainable dog. Her current commands are the basics, sit, paw, lay down, up, down. She hasn't yet learned to play, i.e fetch, tug of war.
She displays separation anxiety when her foster human leaves for work, but this is expected from a farm dog, and will ease with time and routine and bones to chew.

Cayenne thoroughly enjoys the agility dog park. She's best with slow introductions to other dogs, very shy, but shows interest. We know she did live happily with farm dogs before.
She is calm in the car, and doesn't want to leave your yard without you. She loves sitting on the front or back balconies, watchful and quiet.

If you think Cayenne is the dog for you,

Please reach out and enquire.

Our Story

Adopt a Dog Fraser Coast Inc (formerly Fraser Coast Animal Rescue Inc) supports a committed group of volunteer foster carers who care for and assist to re-home unwanted, surrendered and mistreated animals, whilst promoting responsible animal ownership. Using public promotion at local events and representation in local print and social media, we strongly advocate the de-sexing, microchipping, vaccination and registration of all domestic pets. Fostered dogs in our care receive “temperament testing”, coupled with basic training and general obedience. We feel it is imperative that any antisocial behaviours are adequately noted and dealt with prior to re-homing.
