We’re back in after a soggy morning and I’ve treated us to a day fire.

Our hedges have been trimmed. The fencing man has measured up the two remaining runs of the bee field. He’s got weeks of work booked but hoping to get our fencing done within two months. His pole knocker is on tracks so weather shouldn’t prevent the work going ahead.

I’ve been trying to get this done for years and we just had too much rain each autumn to get the tractor in with the trimmer. Fingers crossed for 2024.

Perfection 🫶

Clever Ruby!

This has been a particular boost. Ruby arrived Friday. She’s always walked on lead as her recall is sketch! There’s a challenge! I’ve had her on a long line so I could reel her in and show her what I meant when I call her name and she’s got the hang of it sufficiently to go off lead in our secure fields. Yes Ruby! I’m excited as you might tell! More practice tomorrow. Here’s hoping we can build on this and get the recall more solid 👌
