Koko is a special needs cat we adopted after his 1st family stepped on him, broke his jaw. He only has half a brain & is blind in one eye. He gets seizures

Happy Sunday 😻🪴😻 KOKO loves to lay in the sunroom and take a nap otherwise he is in cat dads lap - He loves pink 🌸
Hope everyone is having a great weekend- He has half brain but is one of the best cats we have ever had.

Our little prince and miracle boy - lately he has been getting more seizures so midday he gets bacon flavored Keppra from Golden Gate Pharmacy you can get your pets medicine flavored in any flavor. This was a life saver when Koko’s wife Mia a tortie who definitely had tortitude and could only be handled barely by myself got lymphoma, we had her meds also flavored in bacon.

Koko favorite place to sleep on cat dads lap he had seizure last night but thankfully he ate a good amount right after and has been doing well. He will be 17 in March.
He had tri tip the last two nights for second dinner ( just a little spoiled)

Koko weighs just under 8 lbs…he eats about 5 wet meals a day plus 2 goo treats before bed and sometimes an extra meal then, plus a few times a week raw fresh chicken from our local butcher. All this helps him plus his meds keep the seizures away. Koko is 16 and his liver enzymes are normal even being on phenobarbital and Keppra sometimes- we give him 1/4 tsp of coconut oil to detox his liver which has extended his life.

Koko was cuddle bug last night & wanted to sleep high on me which means his head hurts. We will be giving him extra protein today.

Happy Caturday! Did you know you can get a burger @inandoutburgers just for pets? They make it without salt! Lady gets me the double double minus the toppings and condiments then feeds the buns to the crows! ( our house either looks like Halloween with the 25 crows she feeds or Snow Whites house with the squirrels and birds she feeds) I eat half a 🍔 for lunch and then half for extra dinner for 2 days - This counts as my extra protein since I get seizures, this extra protein plus meds helps me not get seizures. It’s been 3 years since I had one. Oh and we only advise In and Out Burgers Koko won’t eat any other burger meat even Costco organic burger meat. 😻. #catvideo #specialneedscat #seizurecat
