This photo still makes me giggle after all these years. Ryder was the absolute best Nanny dog. She loved every litter of pups, and would get so excited when they were finally old enough to play. This pic is everything! Baby Whiskey was from our very first litter, it was just he and Caramel. We lost Ryder this past Fall, and it’s really left a hole in my heart. She was with us for 10 years, and was 2 when we rescued her.

This photo shows that there is room for both rescue and responsible breeding. I managed to have both in the same house. ❤️
