I first became interested in the world of purebred dogs and dog showing back in 1996 when I fell in love with Bernese Mountain Dogs. Last year, I bought my first Kangaroo Leather showlead and decided there and then that I would like to try and make these for myself and with alot of research and mentoring from Sindi Leo in the States, thanks Sindi :) Leadswithlove became a reality. :)

Kangaroo Leather Showleads to suit all breeds of dogs. The Kangaroo leather is sourced from Australia and is one of the strongest and most durable leather you can get today. The leather is soft and supple in the hand and gets even better with use. All leads excl Toy leads are braided around a
braided swordfish line from 80lb to 200lb line so these leads are very strong! The focal beads are made to suit the leads by a wonderfully talented glass artists in the States. This gives the leads that extra special look. Prices start at $50.00 NZ Dollars for leads up to 100cms without beads. $60.00 NZ Dollars for leads up to 100cms with beads. Leads over 100cms and longer are priced at $2.50 extra for every 10cms. Slip leads are $65.00 due to the amount of leather used. Postage is additional - I find the safest and quickest way to send these leads is by courier - tracked and traced to destination. As prices vary amongst different countries, I do not add the price to the leads. I also attend some shows in the North Island, NZ so leads can be delivered free of charge. Leads in NZ can be posted for an additional fee (all leads are tracked and traced).
