**Worst Cold In At Least 6 Years**

Please take this seriously! The last time we had an arctic blast that was comparable with both the high and low temperature, wind chill, and length of extreme cold combined was late January 2019.

Remember to check up on the elderly. If you have an older car battery that struggled in this last arctic outbreak, get it changed BEFORE the extreme cold hits. If you have outdoor pets, plan to bring them inside. If you have pipes that are vulnerable to freezing, keep those cabinet doors open. Make sure to let the faucets drip early next week. If your tires are low, add air now. The tire pressure will drop 3-5 PSI on average between Saturday morning and Tuesday morning. Frostbite can occur in less than 15 minutes to exposed skin with the wind chill between -20 to -30.

As always, we have small breeding groups of our birds to insure the best care & health.

Silkies (paint, white, black)- all silkie feathered! Three gorgeous paint roosters over paint, white and black hens. (No frizzle, no showgirl, no satin).

Polish (cuckoo & candy corn)- all standard featherings.

FibroCana (blue, black, splash)- black & splash roosters over blue, black and splash hens. Blue egg layers.

Rainbow eggers (lots of fun colors of eggs & feathers!)- Olive egger & SilverRudd roosters over a variety of colorful hens.

Muscovy ducks (blues, lavenders, whites, blacks and more)!

We will set our first incubators in February for March CHICKS!!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Piglet update!💙
This boy is so loved with his mama. He often dresses up and hits the town. Oh yah, there was this one time he jumped into a soccer game and it had to shut down while everyone played catch the piggy 😆

Aspen & Moose puppy update.
Sweet Stormi Skyy is almost 1 year old and absolutely stunning. We get asked all the time if Great Pyrenees make for good indoor pets and the answer is YES! Although bred to parade around mountain sides and protect flocks and herds of animals- Great Pyrenees are truly the best family companions. Sweet, docile, and loyal. What more could you want in a furry best friend? 🩷

Happy Birthday to our Mama Polar Bear🩷🐶

This girl is the reason i fell in love with Great Pyrenees. She’s been a handful & a heart full since the moment she came home. Watching her go from puppyhood, to adulthood and onto motherhood has been quite a whirlwind. We are blessed with such a great family dog. LOVE YOU ASPEN SKYY!!!!

He is exactly what we are striving for in our piggies.
Small size, sweet temperament and of course adorable face.

He is now officially our only JPAR Registered Juliana Male and will be daddy to all future pure bred Juliana litters. Our old man Misfit is officially retired but is happy to have such a young stud as his replacement.

Here's your friendly reminder to not feed your pet thanksgiving treats off your plate!! Feeding your pet table scraps especially during the holiday season with very fatty foods can give your furry friend pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas). It causes pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. Many cases end up needing hospitalization care to rehydrate and get IV medications due to not being able to keep things down. So, it's incredibly important to keep the health of your pet first. The table scraps are NOT worth it.

If you really want them to have something special try getting them the wet canned version of their food, a wet gastrointestinal dog food, adding a food topper or their favorite PET treats on top of their food!!
