Mulberry’s Luna ⚡️

I can’t wait to see her babies next spring!!! She will be paired with our new buck- Pico, a heavily moonspotted black and white buck with bright blue eyes. We plan to get all the goats in their breeding pens next week! Come spring time we will hopefully be blessed with a bunch of bouncing baby goats! Fingers crossed for doelings next year… 2025 our buckling count was 14 and doeling count was 5🤪

We’ve been quiet this summer as we’ve been going through quite literally the busiest summer of our lives! I’m currently in the third trimester and we welcome our son in a few weeks! 🤰This pregnancy has been very tiring but also really good. I’ve been blessed! Chasing a toddler around and running a farm, raising animals and also caring for the day to day has been challenging but very rewarding!! We are so ready to settle down this fall/ winter and regroup as a family. Besides all the farm hustle & bustle my mother has been battling breast cancer all summer and we’ve been very invested in her full recovery. She has been a rockstar thru it all, and is entering her final weeks of treatment!🎉 all this to say we’ve been focusing on our family and “real” life- I will update you all when I can but at this time daily posts just isn’t in our cards.
We still plan to have lots of baby goats, piglets and puppies this spring and we are excited to return to our “normal” lives… all that with a new little bundle of joy to keep us on our toes!!!💙💙💙

Here’s a pic of me with a massive pepper I picked this evening!!! (With Turk creeping) It was so yummy in our dinner and I’m feeling so lucky our garden is STILL producing for us. 🥰

My handsome boy!!! 💙🐾

We are so proud of Papa Moose Man, today he went on his first ever trip away from farm (the vet comes to us on house calls 3-4x a year so he’s never really been in the car). He had a grooming appointment to help with the build up of undercoat as this summer his weekly grooming/ brushing had gotten away from me due to being pregnant 🤣 I said oh boy it’s time to take you to a professional!! They were extremely impressed with his manners, sweet demeanor and invited him back anytime!!!
He looks like he’s ready for his AKC show, which I have no doubt he would win with his good looks.

Tomato harvest from today 😍
Unlike the cucumbers which are basically a “use right now or forever hold your peace” type veg, tomato’s can be FROZEN whole- ignored and then dealt with as needed. A personal favorite of mine🤣
I’ve got so many tomato’s ripening in the garden I can barely keep up- I’ll freeze them whole then throughout the winter make big batches of tomato sauce in my crockpot! I’m excited to see how my sauces turn out this year considering I did a variety of colorful heirlooms!!☺️

A few of our FibroCana grow outs 💙💙💙

Our splash is so dark it reminds me of ermine sometimes. I love the variety ours give!
A couple of these hens have very small muffs- I’ll be pairing them with a super muffy rooster for their offspring.
Lots of splash hens added to our pens, a blue rooster and 2 blacks roosters- I’ll be growing the boys out and seeing who is best!✨
