Please please do not dump your pets, today we have had two cats 🐈‍⬛ dumped outside with a note left with them. 🥹

We understand things can be difficult for owners but we as a rescue are also feeling the pressure on a daily basis trying to take In so many animals from this crazy world 🌏
Anyone involved in rescue will know these daily struggles. 🥹 The 2 cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛ both have cat flu 😷 are not vaccinated neutered microchipped or wormed. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ this is another huge added expense to the rescue.
We are not government funded we rely heavily upon the public for donations. 🥹
Like all rescues at the moment we are under immense pressure and stress to help more animals than ever,
so many are being put to sleep we just can not save them all. 😢💔
With ever growing vet bills more animals to feed, horses field rent, farrier etc etc this is all on top of our van being written off a few months ago and us having to hire a van now at an eye watering £1,350 per month to keep us on the road and enabling us to continue helping the animals and the care they need.
If you can make a small donation or organise a fund raising event in Aid of Ark Angels we would be extremely grateful ☺️

Like all genuine rescues we are struggling to continue with all the added pressure of raising funds while we are so desperately needed to care for all the extra animals under our care.😭

Foster mum says

Sally is sweet natured and very shy girl but will take treats from you to help build on the trust. Usually after a few treats she be your friend. She needs someone who is patient and will go at her pace. She takes to humans faster than dogs or other animals and can take a week or 2 before being comfortable with another dog/pet, she needs a slow supervised introduction with time together increasing in increments and lots of fusses as rewards.

In her foster home, the very first night she had to be in a seperate room but after 3 weeks we can happily leave her loose with 2 other dogs playing and chilling whilst in a different part of the house.

With further training this could easily be moved to the next stage of being able to leave her with the other dogs rather than seperating whilst not in the home. But this need to at Sally's pace and a new introduction for each new animal in her life. But once she trusts and bonds it sticks.

She can do basic commands and does recognise her name. Like most dogs she is food driven and can be taught through treats.

She can walk at your side with the aid of a halti but does need further training to finesse walking on a lead.

She can sometimes get scared whilst out if she sees another dog so best to walk her early or late when there is less dogs being walked. But again this is just an area where further basic training could benefit her and let her enjoy her walks. But overall most of her walks are fine.

She loves to lounge and snuggle on the sofa, definitely destined for the princess lounging lifestyle

Mostly toilet trained - won't go whilst on walks but will go in the garden.

If she hears barking she might bark as well but you can stop this by telling her no and giving her a new instruction to distract her. (come here/sit/inside etc).

She has a puppy playfulness and loves balls and soft toys.

Poppy
Poppy is a lovely friendly girl. She is a little reserved with new people but once she knows you she loves nothing more than a cuddle and fuss on your lap. She loves to go for walks and is not phased by other dogs of all sizes. She is fully house trained and likes to sleep in an open crate at night. She is fine to be left with her sister Rosie for short periods. She has a good appetite and is currently fed twice a day.

Rosie
Rosie is a happy little girl and is very friendly but she does rely on her sister Poppy a lot. She loves going for walks and plays well with dogs of all sizes but does prefer to play with her sister. She is fully house trained and also likes to sleep with her sister Poppy in an open crate at night. She loves being bathed and brushed and enjoys a cuddle on your lap.

Both dogs travel well, and sleep through the night. They will let you know when someone is at the door. They are both speyed and up to date with vaccinations. They are very reliant upon each other so really must stay together

Both dogs will require regular grooming to maintain their coats in a healthy condition.

We are based around Wrexham / Chester border and rehome within a 50 mile radius.

Wimbledon’s next ball boy 😊 Rory absolutely loves his tennis ball and would having you throwing it for him all day, he can jump quite high for a little dog when catching the ball. He loves being in the garden and sometimes it’s a process of negotiation to get him back in 🤣 If you’re looking for a Pigeon deterrent in the garden then Rory is your man - he does chase birds 🐦

He enjoys his walks and is good on the lead, although can pull a little bit at times. He enjoys zoomies in the garden with his Foster Fur Brother and is good with other dogs when out and about.

Rory is a happy chappy and his tail is always wagging, he’s happy to join you on the sofa for a cuddle and has been known to enjoy a bit of ‘Springwatch’ and ‘The Dog House’ He sleeps in his own bed through the night, sometimes he likes to sleep in the room with you, or on the landing. He likes to greet you in the morning with your own slipper, sock (or tennis ball) 😊

Rory has not been destructive during his time in foster with us, he is house trained and can be left for a few hours, he does like to stay close by and know where you are and also travels well in the car. We’ve fed him and his Foster Brother separately as he does like to poke his nose in. Due to his breed he will need regular grooming and brushing.

Rory is a great little dog and companion, but can on occasions resource guard his toys, he is quite treat driven so hopefully with ongoing training improve on this behaviour.

14 week old Lulu has only been with us a week but due to unforeseen health diagnosis this week and a resident dog issue we have no choice but to find her the perfect home
Lulu hadn’t had any basic training before coming to us but In just one week she’s practically house trained , easily luring into sit and down positions and walking on a lead , and is crate trained , visiting shops to help herbsocialising and getting used to the car journeys
Ideally we would prefer a 1 to 1 home or with a neutered male as she prefers human company than other dogs
An experienced active shepherd home only who understands the mental and physical needs of a Malinois
and their traits
she would excel in obedience , man-trailing type of work,
She will be in the region of 30kg when fully mature so will be a good size for her breed

What an amazing day meeting up with HRH Skylor, I must admit it was hard on the heart. She gave me such a beautiful welcome, 🥹 I was so nervous she wouldn’t remember me but how wrong was I.
To see her doing so well now with her new mum now was just magical. This is what makes my heart 💖 melt when you know you’ve got it right 🦮🏡💖
