Grooming services are provided according to your preferences. This makes the grooming a much more enjoyable experience for your pet. Our program offers a way to maintain your pet's health and beauty with more fre

quent and less time consuming maintenance grooming services and at the same time fulfilling his needs with socialization and lots of fun and exercise in a dog friendly, pack environment. A typical day at Gail's Grooming includes freedom to play all day long on our spacious farm in Oxford, Massachusetts. Whether it's playing ball, running, wrestling, splashing in the pools, socializing with his best friends or relaxing in the sun. Your pet has lots to do all day long and plenty of friends to bond with while waiting to receive his scheduled grooming. (Now accepting small to medium sized short haired breeds only)

“When you read the research, when you look at the studies of duration of immunity, it's shocking...

what Dr. Ron Schultz found, is that one well-timed parvo and distemper vaccine as a puppy can yield protection for life. Now we have to determine when that is, but one vaccine can yield lifelong protection.

Why would we not recognize that and then honor that individual's immune system and confirm that our dogs are protected? That's the one thing that I love about titers. Some of my conventional colleagues will say this is a very reckless recommendation that Dr. Becker would just say one well-timed vaccine, except that we can prove efficacy.

So, if we know that puppies need the vaccine between nine and 12 weeks of age, and we give that one vaccine during that timeframe, we draw blood two weeks after that vaccine and can demonstrate that the dog is protected with adequate antibody titers, we do not have to continue to vaccinate that puppy ever again for those diseases. He's done, he's protected, and now we're honoring his innate immune system. We're not guessing that he's protected.

We can prove it. Then he's done. You're saving so much money with unnecessary vaccines. You're preventing your dog from having an adverse reaction, and you're able to know in your heart that if your dog is out there eating some wild fox or raccoon p**p full of parvovirus, no problem. We know your dog's protected. It's such a beautiful, scientific, elegant way to minimize unnecessary vaccines while making sure that we know in our hearts our dogs are protected.”
