She came and conquered!
Sheep, Mr Valdez & Shepherdess approved!
Pretty sunset tonight, and the freshly mowed pasture looks amazing! Can see the fog rolling in. 💚
It's been so hot and dry for weeks now, hopefully none of you are affected by fires.
Not to many new things here. The lilies have finally bloomed, they are over 6 ft tall too! Craziness!
I found a fabulous new tree farmer.... acquired some dream trees already in fruit. I snagged 2 nectarines, 2 apricot, another Rainier cherry and a quince!
I got another 50 root cutting of comfrey to plant around all the fruit trees. Might just get some figs this year too, spotted some baby ones today.
More to come!
It's berry and cherry season!
My baby Rainier cherry tree produced some amazing cherries this year. Saskatoons & raspberries are just starting and will last a few weeks at least. Soooo good! Baby plums, peaches & apples are doing great! Lillie's will be extra amazing this year. Tulip tree is loaded this year, its such a cool tree. Fig tree is loading up with lots of leaves woohoo. Found another anenome patch! More to come 🥰
Not to many new flowers this week. The lilies are 4 ft tall with tonnes of blooms, so many are waiting for some sunshine to bloom. The baby peaches, plums, apples, berries are all growing tho. Can't wait!
Sweetapea & Miss Daisy are settling in and loving their new digs. Mr Valdez is keeping his eyes on everyone on the platform.
Made sure to get more pics before the rain comes. Peonies just bloomed, looks like I'll be getting some figs this year too! Lots more to come!
Grabbed 45lbs of amazing beefsteak tomatoes today for $30!
Homemade roasted tomato sauce is in the works!
Organic Italian Seasoning, Russian garlic from Bradner Hills Farm - Garlic, massive cloves!, dehydrated tomatoes from my stash, salt/pepper, 15 lbs of beefsteak tomatoes.
Once it's all cooked down, I blend it with my wand mixer and voila best sauce ever and so much more affordable than canned sauce. (Will post the after pics when it's done)
My first anenome! Lots of berries this year, not as much fruit on the older trees, but they outdid themselves last year so they are getting a well deserved break. Tonnes of green gage plums and apples on the younger trees. Quite a few peaches, Saskatoons, and raspberries. Can't wait.
Freshly sheared Woolies, hairs are still shedding. Mr Valdez wants back in with his sized friends.... slowly acclimating these hay hippos back onto pasture.
Sooooo many flowers, plums, apples, Saskatoons, raspberries, peaches... so much more to come. ❤️❤️
Dreams do come true!
This gorgeous trio came home today! Thanks so much to S&L Acres for enabling my dream. These 3 were well worth the wait, from an amazing farm!

It's been a few since I posted pics of around the yard. There will be sooo many plums this year, literally thousands on the tree now. Persimmons are leafing out, all but one didn't make it thru winter. The apples bloomed like never before, so I'm thinking there will tonnes of those. The Pear tree wasn't much of a bloomer this year, thinking it's taking a break this year after last year. All the perennials and bulbs are outdoing themselves. They are huge. Quite a few cherries on the trees this year, Saskatoons are outdoing themselves, and there are already baby peaches. 🍎🍐🍑🍒🍅🩷

Every day her personality came shining thru. Then it hit me. She's Shirley!
