While I may not be on Instagram here that much, that doesn’t mean there aren’t new things coming together behind the scenes. I’m working on multiple different things at the same time often, and one of them right now is quad-friendly wheelchair tennis gloves.
It all started awhile back when I was helping coach the juniors at wheelchair tennis practice and noticed one of them was having a hard time serving because the ball was rolling off her palm before she could throw it up to serve it. While I was thinking about how to solve that problem, I came up with an idea for how to strap her hand to the racquet with a glove and Velcro rather than tape. After several different versions, I’m getting close to a final “official” version.
