Team Rye wrapped up 2024 as the #3 Giant (all-breed) and #4 Giant (breed) with some significant accomplishments along the way...

🏆Award of Merit at the 2024 GSCA National Specialty
🏆Best of Breed at the 2024 GSCA Midwest Regional

We are so very happy for his owners Ted & Meg McNamara McGee and forever grateful to Alfonso Escobedo and Ashlie Whitmore for everything they do for our Giants.

And we are very excited about the year ahead and what 2025 may have in store for Team Rye.

2024 has wrapped up and the final show stats are out.

Team Alice finished as the #12 Giant (Breed) and #9 Giant (All-Breed). Much was accomplished in 2024 with highlights being an Award of Merit at Westminster and going Best of Opposite at the 2024 GSCA National Specialty.

We are so happy for owners Alexandra Nikitakis and Tom and grateful for everything Catherine Pikul has done with this girl.

Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in all the shows and the accompanying ribbons and trophies that we forget one of the most important aspects of owning a dog - they give us a purpose and bring meaning to our lives.

We are so happy for Dean Daniels on this wonderful outcome and thankful he has shared his story. And of course we are very proud of Otis for being part of it.

Dean thought he was doing everything he could to take care of his heart. However, he didn’t consider his family’s history of heart disease.

It was a very good day at the dog show…

So proud of Rick and Valli Rovenolt for all they have accomplished with Saura (Lagniappe’s I'm In Heaven CGCA).

Team Saura went Reserve WB at the Eastern Regional and then won Best of Winners for a 4 point major at the supported entry the following day. Saura now has both majors and is only a few points away from finishing her Championship.

Team Rye received a nice Group 2 in Amarillo over the weekend. Thank you to judge Gary Anderson and to Alfonso and Ashlie for everything they do for our Giants.

We’ve produced many champions, but Alice is the first International Champion. She earned her Canadian championship over the weekend with multiple group placements!

“Rye” is owned by Meg & Ted McGee and co-owned with us. And of course he is groomed/conditioned/handled by Ashlie and Alfonso.

The Giant Schnauzer was bred to be protective, starting with their very beginnings in Germany's Bavarian Alps in the mid-10th century.

So very proud of Team Moses (CH Lagniappe’s Geaux Tell It On The Mountain SWE SCM SIM SEM SHDE CGC and Laurie Mason)!

They recently competed in a NACSW NW3 Trial at the Pioneer Museum in Gunnison, Colorado. Moses earned his second NW3 Title out of the three required for his NW3 Elite Title with a High in Trial. He also earned his NW3 Elite Titles in Containers, Interior and Vehicles with two first places and three Pronounced.
