All About The Pawz Dog Rescue Dog Rescue located in Austintown Ohio. We are Appointment only with approved application We are a 501c3 non profit. All of our dogs are vetted before adoption.

We are a small shelter located in Austintown, Ohio run strictly by volunteers. Our adoption fees are posted on our website along with our applications. In order to adopt, all resident pets must be up to date on shots and fixed. We do not travel over an hour from Youngstown Ohio.

Edamame (Eddie) and Oreo are both in urgent need of a foster or adopter today. These two sweethearts have been through a lot, and they deserve a safe place to call home.

**Edamame (Eddie):** Eddie was hit by a car and suffered a broken leg. Despite his rough start, he’s a resilient 52 pound, 1-2 year old dog who gets along well with other dogs. He’s not cat tested yet, but he’s ready to start his new chapter in a loving home.

**Oreo:** Oreo is a high-energy Shepherd mix, about 10 months old and 48 pounds. He’s great with other dogs but can be a bit of an alpha, so a meet and greet is recommended. Oreo would thrive with an active family who can match his energy.

Both Eddie and Oreo urgently need a foster or adopter to step up today. If you can help, please visit our website and submit an application. Their future depends on someone like you.

Buddy is a handsome 3-year-old Cattle Dog Blue Tick mix who is in search of a new forever home. We don’t know much about him yet since he just arrived, but we can tell you he’s about 30 pounds and is dog friendly -though a meet and greet will be required to ensure a good fit.

Buddy recently lost his previous home, so he’s hoping for a fresh start with a loving family. If you think Buddy might be the perfect addition to your home, breed experience is a plus , please head to our website and fill out an application.

A noisy, crowded pound is no place for any puppy, especially ones as frightened as these. Foster needed ASAP Poor Zara💔 She appears to have had multiple litters, is underweight, has a little bit of skin issues, and her ears are completely hacked😭. She deserves a home with a family who is going to give her all the love she's been missing her whole life. She is in desperate need of TLC.. This beautiful baby is estimated at 3 years old and 76 lbs. right now. She has good leash manners, knows some of her basic commands, and is friendly with everyone she meets. Zara is dog friendly, too, but a meet and greet with your resident dog is always required to ensure a good fit. This sweet, gentle girl deserves so much more than the life she's been given so far. She is very quiet and sad in her kennel😔. Sometimes, she won't even greet you at her door. Please consider opening up your heart and home to Zara. Valentina thought she may have had a chance for a home but found out they got another dog so she’s still waiting. She is very special and needs someone that is going to give her the life she deserves. Someone with patience and time to spend with her. She loves being outside. Is dog friendly. Chases cats. Older kids. She’s available foster to adopt because she still needs vetting. She is about 12 weeks old and weighs 20 pounds right now. We are not sure of her breed. She is not housebroken. Vance is dog-friendly and has a wonderfully sweet disposition, making him a perfect companion for families with older children. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet. At maturity, he’s expected to weigh between 40 and 50 pounds, making him a great size for snuggles and play. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving furry friend, Vance is your guy. At 3 years old, he's full of energy and joy, always ready for a new adventure. Shakespeare would thrive in a home with a 6ft wooden fence as he’s quite the escape artist and can easily climb out of a regular one. He's dog-friendly and great with older kids. Jordan is back💔 It wasn’t a good fit. Not every dog is a good fit so it’s best they find out early which is why we offer foster to adopt. No negative comments. They will be deleted. We did find out he has quite an obsession with squirrels so he needs someone strong and can use some work on leash training. He is not happy being back so we are hoping to find someone out there that’s willing to put in the time. He’s been waiting for 8 months so it will be an adjustment for everyone. He came in extremely fearful and we are still working on that. Applications are on our website Allaboutthepawz.com Jordan’s adoption fee is sponsored for an approved adopter. Training would be beneficial.

Our Story

All About the Pawz is a small dog shelter in Austintown, Ohio, run strictly by volunteers. WE ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. WE ARE APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH RETURNED APPROVED APPLICATION. We are now charging a $10.00 non-refundable (tax deductible) application fee that can be paid by Credit card, PayPal or Venmo. We are 501c 3 non-profit status. The money that we raise from fundraising or private donations is used for the care and vetting of our dogs including spay/neuter, HW tests, shots plus shelter expenses. Our dogs have come from County Pounds, strays, and Owner surrenders. All of our dogs are vetted before adoption or arrangements to continue vet care are provided. New volunteers 18 or older are always welcome.

Adoption Fees:

Puppies 8 weeks -6 mos $350.00

Dogs 7 mos-12 mos $250.00
