*HAPPY TAIL TUESDAY PEOPLE FRIENDS!!*

One of my mom's friends posted the meme below about her puppy.

Feline development must follow a similar course.

My little brother Worthy Wolf is definitely currently in the middle phase pictured below.

Do not let the sweet kitten pose in his picture below fool you. He is a complete kitten-monster!

Worthy's recent favorite activity is jumping on his cat-siblings heads.

Whether we are eating, sleeping, or just walking by, he gets these bursts of energy, and out of nowhere...here comes little Wolfers, the flying kitty-beast! Bam! Right on your noggin!

Bitting our ears! Bitting ours tails when we try to escape!

I'm pretty sure he is just playing. He can also be very sweet. And he sure is cute. But I really hope he moves on from this childish behavior soon.

Shockingly, mom says I was just as bad when I was his age. (I personally find that very hard to believe.)

**HAPPY TAIL TUESDAY PEOPLE FRIENDS!!**

My mom asked what we kitties wanted as our joint Christmas present this year. Mom suggested a kitty exercise wheel. She found the picture below of a kitty who looks kind of like me running on the wheel. So we are looking for advice from all our people friends and kitty friends this week.

Do any of you have such a wheel? Do your kitties use it? Is it fun to run on? Mom has asked a bunch of her family and friends and no one has one. Before she and dad spend the money, they were hopping for some feedback.

Mom says when she was a human kitten, and she had pet gerbils and hamsters. These little mousey type pets had wheels to run on in their cages so they could get exercise. The small rodent guys also had big plastic balls they could go in to roll all around the house. (Perhaps mom could put my little brother Worthy Wolf in a big plastic ball to keep him from jumping on all our heads.)

**HAPPY TAIL TUESDAY PEOPLE FRIENDS!!**

I recently presented my mom with a trophy of my fierce hunting efforts. I prominently displayed the deceased rodent right at the foot of the basement stairs where I was sure that she would see it when she went down to get the laundry.

However, quite surprisingly, I did not receive the anticipated accolades and praise for my efforts in protecting our home from intruders.

Instead, my mom let out a loud shriek, jumped up about a foot in the air, and ran back up the stairs.

Mom then returned in basically a hazmat suit to dispose of the unfortunate former mouse.

What did I miss? Was mom not proud of me? Should I have left the varment on her pillow instead?

Any advice for future proper pest contol protocol would be most appreciated. - TBJC. 🐅🧡

**HAPPY TAIL TUESDAY PEOPLE FRIENDS!!**

As many of you know, I am a mostly blind kitty. I have severe central cataracts. But I can see some light and shapes in my peripheral vision. My sister Isabella and my little brother Worthy Wolf have no eyes, so they can't see anything at all.

People often ask my mom what it's like to have a blind kitty. She tells them that we are each more different from one another than we are alike! We each have very distinct, individual personalities.

However, mom can provide some tips for safely having a blind cat in your home.

The first rule...always shut the toilet seat cover! We puddies think of toilets as just another place to sit. We can't see if it's left open. So if that happens, you may end up with a startled, wet, and really unhappy feline!

Don't rearrange the furniture just for fun. We memorize our house, horizontally and vertically. If things are moved around all the time it will confuse us and make us less secure in our surroundings. Redo the layout of the home only when really necessary.

Try to remember not to leave random things in our usual pathways. It's tempting to just drop purses, backpacks, and shopping bags on the floor when you get home. However, if they are in the middle of a route we normally take, and we don't know they are there, we may run right into them! If we don't expect something in our path, we may collide with it at top speed when we get the zoomies! That's no fun! So try to avoid leaving items in the middle of our through fares.

**HAPPY TAIL TUESDAY PEOPLE FRIENDS!**

Happy National Cat Day from your favorite House Tiger!!

My mom is wondering why she and my dad didn't have today off. Isn't this a national holiday?

How are we kitties supposed to be pampered all day long if our humans have to work?

I have suggested that my parents both look into using vacation days for this momentous occasion next year.

That way we will not need to wait until 5:00 p.m. for the festivities commence!

I like my new little brother Worthy Wolf. I like him so much, that I am even willing to share my food with him! (As you know, I am quite fond of my food, so sharing it isn't my usual behavior.) But my new puddy sibling is really quite sweet, very smart, and blind like me. I think he sort of needs me. And maybe, I need him a little bit too. **HAPPY TAIL TUESDAY PEOPLE FRIENDS!**

Lately, it seems like lots of people are having a difficult time. Whether it's work stress, health issues, things like car or home repairs, or problems for our family or friends; my mom says many of us currently have 'too much on our plates.' (I'm not sure that I've ever seen a plate with too much on it, but I digress.)

I thought I would offer some House Tiger suggestions on how to find a little bit of peace when things get too crazy.

- Take an afternoon nap in a nice sunny spot.

- Snuggle up with someone who also needs cuddles.

- Find a favorite old toy and play with it again.

- Offer others head bumps and purrs, for no real reason. (Hugs and giggles will suffice if you happen to be human.)

- Think of five things in your life that you are really, truly thankfully for.

-Remember that tomorrow, you get a whole, brand new day!

I pray that the lost kitties, dogs and other pets find their way home. I hope that all my people friends in affected states are safe. My mom is very excited! One of her most favorite people in the world is moving back home! After being all the way across the country for many years, my Auntie Denise is coming back to Wisconsin in just 10 days! Our family is very happy about this. I am looking forward to her return, because Denise really likes us kitties! And she likes to stay in and have 'movie nights' under quilts, so we can cuddle with her! We missed her very much and are all very lucky to be getting her back! Just 10 more days! I can't wait!! Keep your loved ones close, and have a Happy Tail Tuesday! - 🐅🧡

**HAPPY TAIL TUESDAY PEOPLE FRIENDS!!**

Last week my mom and dad saw this pretty white kitty just sitting in our front yard. Mom tried to approach this puddy to see if she had a tag with her home information, but she ran away when mom got close. So my mom put a post on the community page asking if anyone was missing a cat, along with this picture. Very soon after, a nice man knocked on the door of our big old house. He said that this was his family's kitty, and she has been lost for three weeks! She apparently snuck out the doggy door with her doggy siblings, and got over the fence. They have been missing her very much! My mom has her dad's phone number now, and will let him know if she comes back to our yard. Others in town will be watching for her as well. Hopefully she will soon find her way home safely. 🩷 - TBJC 🐅🧡
