Key’s Tip of The Day … Good Morning Everydoggy!!! I have been a very busy boy, even when I’m away I’m working!!! My friends Nala, I’m The Pipstar and I have sucesfully completed Dog Parkour Pentathlon and also all achieved our Level 2 Titles. Our owners are so proud of us. But no time to rest on our laurels oh no!! We are all preparing for our next challenge and I am getting ready for my Trick Dog Title oh my goodness gracious me it’s all go go go!! But it’s also all TIME I get to spend with my owner having fun.

Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!!! Suddenly the house was quiet!!! This is my friend I'm The Pipstar or Pip for short. She's been working on her Backup behaviour for her next level Dog Parkour Certification and after a few minutes she was absolutely pooped out, she took herself off to her crate and didn't even chew her bone. She slept for 2,5 hours, which for this crazy, energetic little girl just goes to prove how using mental stimulation can be really beneficial in tiring out all dogs, even super enthusiastic ones like Pip. Keep Training!!!

Team Event
1st. The 3 Musketeers (Nala, Key, Pip) 505 points
2nd. Ladies and a Tramp (Fly, Magan, Yoda) 415 points
3rd. 2 Black's and a Grey (Alma, Freddie, Nicki) 325 points

Individual Tri-Event (Trick, Dog Parkour and Aquatics)
Gold Medal - Nala with 175 points
Silver Medals - Fly, Key and Pip each with 165 points
Bronze Medal - Magan with 145 points

1. Learn a new Dog Parkour Behaviour (or master an old one).

Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!!! Well my friends, last week was very busy. We were working in the swimming pool, building up dogs confidence, I was doing some Parkour with my friend Nala and we were working with Fluffy to help some dogs overcome their reactivity. All in all a very good week. This week I'm out and about helping you dogs and your owners. What is your biggest struggle? Mine is that I want to run, run and play, run agility, run dog puller, run Frisbee, but I'm not allowed to because of my injury. Today I am going back to my favorite vet for a checkup, fingers crossed that he says I can RUN. Anyways my friends, let me know your biggest struggles in the comments.

Key's Tip of The Day ... Good Morning EveryDoggy!!! I wanted to chat to you today about a couple of the questions I asked you to think about a few days ago. Training, how many Puppy School and Adult Dog Training Classes have you and your owners attended? Well what I am seeing is between the ages of 8 weeks and 6 months puppies and their owners either attend NO Puppy School Classes or they attend erratically. From the age of 6 months to 18 months "problem behaviours" have now developed and been repeatedly reinforced. Many owners are now frustrated and looking for a quick fix for their practically untrained dog. I hear often "We've tried everything" and "nothing works" or "He's stubborn" or even "He's doing x,y or z behaviour to irritate me" and my favorite " But he should know not to do x, y or z behaviour" Now in relation human children attend in general, creche, playgroup, nursery, reception and then years 1 to 12 of schooling on average 5 days a week, with homework to be done. BUT a dog is expected to learn something in one or a few Training Sessions and do it for life .............. Go through the alphabet once or a few times with your child and expect them to know it .............. Let's get your owners more involved with your training and help you become the best dog you can.

4. How much time during the week do you and your owners spend Training?
5. When did you and your owners learn a new behaviour?
6. Why did your owners get you?
7. How much time do you and your owners spend playing in a day?
8. What games do you play together?
9. What are your biggest challenges on a daily basis?
10. Is your owner always on the phone when they're supposed to be spending time with you?
