Introducing Skye!🤎 The newest recruit of the PP family joining her big spaniel sisters Jhunu & Mini🤩
She’s the spit of Mini as a pup & she’s one confident young girl which is great to see, not phased in her first session where she was plunged right in🥳 (and jumped on by the ever so graceful Eaden🤣)
Just a playful 40kg enjoying his retirement trying to bite a sprinkler after a life of protection work🤣💦🐺There’s still a pup in every dog!
What fun we’ve had today with this dog sprinkler from Aldi🍊🤩 Even Mr C joined in!🐺
I haven’t officially opened up this paddock for work purposes yet but it has it’s perks!💦☀️

Paws Parades 6th Birthday, what a year! Our 2 Crewe paddocks are now in full swing which all the doggies absolutely LOVE🏖️☀️ Even bigger plans are in the works for the next year of PP & I can’t wait to turn ideas into reality..🤭
We truly have the best dogs to spend our days with, with some lovely new energetic doggo’s who have joined this past year fitting right in with the PP Pack! We’ve also sadly lost a couple of our furry friends this year too, forever in our hearts🌈💛

Eleven would like to announce, in her newest pair of 🤿💜… Her monthly Ophthalmologist check in went very well today, they’re happy no further progression, slight side affects of blotching from the steroid drops which we can continue to phase out so this should fix itself anyway🙏🏽
We’re aiming to just be on the Optimmune ointment in 2 weeks time which is the goal going forward & to continue wearing her specs, we’re definitely on the right path & happy that the treatments working👓🥳
We might have snook through a fence to get here but it was absolutely worth it!🧸☕️🫖 🤣

Weather Warning This Week ⚠️☀️
As always in warmer weather, there will be some changes this week which can be found on our ‘HOT WEATHER PROCEDURE’ photo below - same as previous summers👇🏽
With the sudden heat wave this year after having a very mild summer so far, dogs haven’t had chance to climatise so will more than likely struggle more than previous years❗️
Our morning and lunch walks are still planned to go ahead running 30 minutes earlier than normal and sessions WILL be shorter than usual! We do not offer a discount on shorter sessions due to the weather which is out of our control as the dog’s welfare comes first.
If anyone would feel more comfortable with their dogs sitting out of walks this week this is more than understandable and there will be no cancellation fees - just please let me know asap🙏🏽
Dogs at higher risk in the heat are:
🐾Flat face breeds
🐾Elderly dogs
🐾Overweight dogs
🐾Hyperactive dogs
🐾Large breeds
🐾Thick coated breeds
We will likely be at the paddock every session until it cools down a bit where we thankfully have shade & water access for the dogs💦🏖️

When Teddy & Eaden shared her XS bed upfront🤣🤭 😍 she was semi not impressed but also loves curling up with other dogs purely just using them for warmth so she let him stay🤗😂

RIP to our beautiful cheeky girl Dottie🤍🌟🌈
It doesn’t even seem real at this point, but I have the devastating news to announce to all of her furiends that Dottie is no longer with us and has joined our pack in the sky where she is now pain free, playing with her favourite ball & I’m sure watching over her little sister Cali who’s missing her dearly🙏🏽🫶🏽
Dottie was one of our original pack members, some of these photo’s dating back to 2019 & more to add on Facebook as there was just too many to choose from!🥰 She had been by my side amongst multiple different vans, house moves, daycares, sleepovers & walks.. there isn’t a dog in the parade that hasn’t walked alongside Dottie, or should I say waited for her to catch up from whatever she deemed more important to sniff at than staying with the group🤭
I’ll never forget the way she used to dash over to my feet after calling her (twice😆) to come to me, she was full of personality this little diva and she had the most loving home with her Mum who gave her the best life any frenchie could wish for!💕 Run free Dottie & we’ll see you again one day💫

SO proud of us both as nervous was an understatement for myself and I wasn’t sure if I could ever step foot onto the trial field after a rollercoaster couple of years training even just to get to this first stage but yesterday gave me the confidence to continue in the sport and see what else this crazy girls got to give - now onto the scary stuff!🫣😆

Thank you to anyone that put dog water bowls out along Crewe Rd they were El’s drink stops & everyone that was handing out sweets, drinks, dog biscuits and even toasted marshmallows for us along the way! Brilliant atmosphere😇

Mini Moves Away💌🐾✈️ Last Friday was Mini's final walk with us💔😭 She's been a part of the PP family since March 2021 and looking back through our photo's & videos together, as you can see, she's always been there💕 Mini's made so many friends, there hasn't been 1 fellow pack member she's disliked. She runs around with her smaller pals and stands on her 2 back legs to reach her bigger furry friends, giving them a lick on the face🤣😋 We're really going to miss Mini, not just us walkers but all of the Parade too, it just won't be the same without her. I can't be too sad though.. because she's moving to Canada!🇨🇦😍 The walks will be a bit different there, & I wish Mini's family the very best on their new venture🌍 (you've been amazing!) as always, you gain access to PP for life so if you do ever move back you know where I am🙌🏽 gutted I can't quite cover your new area🏡😂 For a small girl there's certainly a big name missing out of my diary this week, and they'll always be a Mini sized hole in my heart💓 #NewHome #ByeForNow

*Emotional Post*😭 Bella & Charlie move away🏡💔 The BEST #Gsd & #Pom duo you will ever find!! These guys are my DAY ONES.. 4.5yrs we've spent together which today has sadly come to an end when I dropped them home for the last time☹️ We've had some brilliant memories together, they were my first official house sit, one of my very first clients when I started in 2018, they've been from my car, to my 1st van, to my 2nd van. We've all moved house (numerous times!🤣), they've been part of my daycare in Hough, to my overnight boarding in Leighton, and regular walkers every.single.week🙌🏽🙏🏽 They were also my LOCKDOWN buddies for 2 whole months in 2020 and they literally got me through it with our daily walks, where we found new adventures for the rest of the gang too! They were ALSO my Paws Petwear dog models🌈 🧡Charlie, he may be small but full of character and the cutest fluff ball to cuddle, or to have sit by your feet so you have to keep tickling his belly with your toes🤣 🤎Bella, an absolute angel, you're the reason my love of shepherds grew even bigger and partly to blame for the little terror I now call my own too! They were both there to meet Eleven from a puppy and helped show her the ways of the world🌍 🖤Not to forget Lilly, the hardcore cat🙀 I've loved watching their beautiful family grow also over the years, with 2 human siblings 👶🏼 that came along too!
