Valeria’s Dreamgirl (Dreamers Moonlight Rambo GCH x Brash & Sassy) achieved Grand National Reserve Champion in Western Pleasure for Four-Year-Old Mares and placed 4th in the WP Four-Year-Old World Championship. 🖤

We couldn’t be prouder of our lovely “Delilah” for stepping up to the challenge and competing against the big boys in the World Championship. With limited show experience, she handled the large class like a seasoned horse. We’re excited to see her in the amateur division with Charlene next season! Special thanks to Rick Gervasio for his dedication to bringing her along with patience and care – we know she’s going to be worth every moment!

Welcome to Valeria Morgans, LLC

Brief History

Valeria Morgans LLC operates out of Ridgeback Stables in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. Valeria Morgans is the product of three mainstays in the Northern Michigan equestrian community; Charlene Berger, Lera Kelley, and Tristy Redmond. The three ladies met at Ridgeback Stables where they were each training, competing, and loving horses. When Tristy and Charlene were consulted to help purchase a horse for Lera, the transition to and love for Morgans began. Since that day, the three have been deeply invested and passionate in the Morgan breed.

Breeding Philosophy

Valeria Morgans is a boutique breeder focusing on athleticism, attitude, beauty, and performance. The program currently has five broodmares; Arethusa, Brash & Sassy, EKL Boogie’s Pretty Lady, HDP War Dancer, and Tallulah Up Town. Each of these broodmares were hand picked by Valeria Morgans for their conformation, performance in the show ring, and pedigree. The resulting offspring will not be limited to one type of client, as Valeria Morgans pride themselves on breeding horses for performance, sport, and pleasure. To date, the program has produced a beautiful 2017 filly by JW Standing Tall and out of the dam EKL Boogie’s Pretty Lady, who is destined to make a splash in the driving division. And a striking 2018 C**t by Regal Masterpiece, and out of the great mare, HDP War Dancer. Valeria’s Electric Feel, aka Felix, was 5th place in the highly competitive 2018 Morgan Weanling Gala. This was Valeria Morgan’s first appearance in the Gala, and they are looking forward to presenting their 2019 foal crop with the trained hand of John Huffard from Triumph Stables.
