The party is this Saturday and there’s still lots of cats and dogs that still need Christmas angels to bring them gifts.

To participate, simply comment on the photo of the animal(s) that you would like to purchase some gifts for and then bring those gifts to our party on December 21st. Items needed include food, treats, durable toys, leashes/collars, beds, litter, and blankets.
We will post more every few days but yes, an animal can have more than one sponsor.

If the animal you choose gets adopted before Christmas then that’s great! Ultimately, a home the best gift they can get but there will always be another animal coming in to take their place and so your gift will just go to the next one coming in the shelter.

Goose: Somebody adopt me, the resident dog in my foster home is crazy!!!

Resident dog: Don't be dramatic Goose, you started it!

Goose: Fine! But I'm still telling mom I want my own home for Christmas!

Goose is an active 7 month old pup. He is 35 lbs, gets along great with dogs and kids! He plays rough with cats so he would prefer a home without cats. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
Goose would love a fenced backyard or an active family to take him on walks and play. He is house broken and crate trained too!

The adoption fee is $125. If you are interested in adopting or meeting Goose please submit an application on our website www.dcanimalalliance.org

Check it out! Our 3 current dogs available for adoption are all fostered together! Watch Rose, Petunia, and Goose all getting some morning playtime in, before they turn into couch potato's until the kids come home from school.

Goose (brown) is 7 months old and ready for adoption. Rose and Petunia will be available later this month.

The adoption fee is $125 and includes a microchip, spay/neuter, and puppy vaccines.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting any of these dogs, please submit an application on our website. Www.dcanimalalliance.org

We are very excited to announce all of the pups that have been recently adopted! Congratulations to all!

🐾Introducing Petunia🐾

We welcomed Petunia into the DCAA family 1 week ago after she came in as a stray. Her head wound likely occured on the run, but it's superficial and is healing well!

Petunia is a pit mix, 6 months old, and 35 lbs. She is fostered with school aged kids, multiple dogs, and a cat. She is very sweet and loves everyone.
Petunia is very smart and almost fully housebroken and has no issues in a crate either.

She will be available for adoption in late December after she heals from her spay. Her adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay, microchip, and puppy vaccines.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting Petunia when she becomes available, please submit your application .dcanimalalliance.org

We took in this wee little one just a couple days ago after she was found as a stray. Unfortunately, she started feeling rather puny yesterday and by this morning she was vomiting and had diarrhea. Yep, our sweet little baby Rose tested positive for Parvo. At only 6 weeks old, she could have quite a fight ahead of her. Rose has been hospitalized and is receiving fluids to keep her hydrated and meds to settle her tummy. Parvo is highly contagious and often deadly especially for ones so young and small.
Please keep Rose in your prayers and if you can donate towards her medical expenses, you can send via PayPal to [email protected], mail to PO Box 183 Thomasville NC 27361, or send through the FB link below.

It’s time once again for the annual Christmas party for the shelter animals that we host each year at the Davidson County Animal Shelter. We feel like every animal should have a chance to have a Merry Christmas and that includes our homeless dog and cat friends at the shelter.
To participate, simply comment on the photo of the animal(s) that you would like to purchase some gifts for and then bring those gifts to our party on December 21st. Items needed include food, treats, durable toys, leashes/collars, beds, litter, and blankets.
