🚨🚐 We need help!

Our rescue van – the heartbeat of Swampland Husky Rescue – is down. After spending $1,700 on an oil pan gasket replacement, we’ve now been hit with the news that it needs a full transmission replacement costing $5,800.

This van isn’t just transportation. It’s how we:
🐾 Save Huskies from shelters and unsafe situations
🐾 Get them to vet appointments and surgeries
🐾 Bring them to meet their forever families

Without it, rescue stops. And stopping isn’t an option.

We need this van. The Huskies need this van. 💔

PUPDATE: Dutch was adopted!

We see this all too often. Children leaving their pets with their elderly or disabled parents. The parents often feel obligated to take in the pet even though it is too much for them to manage.

This is the case with Dutch. He was left with a man bound to a wheelchair who lives in an apartment. Dutch spends a lot of time on the balcony. He is not taken for walks and although house-trained, he is forced to use the restroom inside on pads. He does not deserve this neither does the man.

We are trying to find a new home for Dutch. He is 6 months old, neutered and vaccinated. He is affectionate and does well with other dogs.

✅ Owned cats & dogs from 2 to 90 lbs are welcome!
❌ We aren't able to fix puppies under 4 months old and kittens under 2 lbs.
❌We DO NOT offer a vaccine/microchip-only clinic. Our focus is spay/neuter. ✂
❌ Flat-faced dog breeds such as Pugs, Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs, and English Bulldogs are not eligible for this event due to their specialized anesthesia needs.

As the leaves begin to change and the air turns crisp, we at Paws and Tails Sanctuary are excited to announce our Fall Fundraising Campaign aimed at improving the lives of stray cats in our community. This year, we are focusing on two critical aspects of animal care: spaying/neutering and vaccinations.

Our Mission
Paws and Tails Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating stray cats, and dogs ensuring they receive the care and medical attention they desperately need.

By spaying and neutering, we aim to reduce the overpopulation of strays while providing vital vaccinations to keep them healthy and safe and seek homes for these animals.

How You Can Help
We invite you to join us in this important mission! Your contributions will directly fund:

Spay/Neuter Procedures
Every dollar raised will go towards ensuring that stray cats undergo spay/neuter surgeries, helping to control the cat population and improve their quality of life.
