Puggle fans? Where are you!? Meet Nestle! She is an approx 3 yr adult puggle who is already potty trained, that mostly lays on the couch all day. Nestle would enjoy a home that is a little more quiet as she takes a few days to warm up to new people. Nestle also needs hernia surgery tomorrow so will be available after a brief recovery. Overall, she is a fabulous foster who needs a forever home.

Rocky is so thankful on National dog day his foster mama knows his quirks, respects his comfort zone, and has been the best foster mama despite his eccentricity. Rocky is the best foster uncle to all the new foster siblings. He'd be happiest in a quiet, patient home with playful canine companions. Due to be from a hoarding situation it takes him A LONNNGG time to warm up to strangers but once he does he's loving, spunky and entertaining.

He's a nice medium size at 30 # around a year old. For more info on Little Rocky, check him out on the web.site

Poor Neptune pouty face because hes been here for 2 months and not one application.

Neptune is a happy sweet dog who loves all people.  He is very excited when people sit down because then a lap is available.  He is very cuddly and is becoming playful as he gains confidence.  Good with dogs, cats, kids.

Hermes has the absolute cutest tan eyebrows. Don't you agree? Hermes the messenger god is fitting for a border collie going between two worlds "herding his pack". He's a 14 week old border collie looking for his forever home. He does great with other dogs and kids, but would do best without any small critters to chase.

In the last 10 years of fostering and running the rescue I have acquired a few extra dogs that still have never been adopted. Three have been with me so long that they will probably stay and 2 more are so scared of the outside world it would have to be a pretty secure loving home for me to approve.

These are dogs with maybe a few quirks but still great loving dogs.

Wally has been with me over a year. He has stranger danger and needs a minute to warm up to guests, but after he knows you he's the best large snuggle buddy you can have.

Nada was returned over a year ago, she was having too much fun on the farm with the livestock, she has a bit of stranger danger and loves to guard the yard from any enemy's that may try to attack :)

Dax I feel bad for he is not a fan of large dogs, but likes little dogs and puppy's? Since Dax can not be with my large dogs, he has to live in the shed looking over the puppies. He is such a loving dog he deserves better.
All of these dogs just need a quieter home and adopters who are willing to take the little extra work and time to make them feel safe. I love all these dogs unconditionally but at some point I want to retire and spend my hardworking days left on this earth traveling with my husband.
Please help me find the best homes for these dogs they may not be perfect but they are worth it !

Barracuda just Chilling until she finds a forever home.

Who needs a Barracuda in their life? Anyone who wants a super sweet little girl who honestly acts nothing like a barracuda would. I'm super sweet, very chill, and I understand when other dogs correct me.
I honestly just want to be with my people and follow them around and get underfoot...🥴😊 I'd love for a new home to give me a chance and see the sweet little girl I can be! Sometimes a little feisty, but mostly just sweet! Also, I am still working on potty training, I'm still young, but I'm pretty smart, so I don't think it'll take me long to catch on! Edit to add....I'm now figuring out doggie doors! I don't necessarily always use them to go potty outside yet, but I have a few times! I'm a work in progress!

Meet Grace! Grace is a 12 # bundle of love. Grace hails from Texas where she was found with her siblings. While Grace is new to Wisconsin she is catching on quick to learning to sit and lay down,  crate training, and potty training. She loves children, playing with dogs of all sizes, doesn't bother cats,  and learning new things. She enjoys playing ball and snuggling. Her breed is definitely mixed but if cute was a breed than that is what she is.

Nestle is the sweetest girl! She is still very timid, but adjusting well in her foster home. She has never had an accident in the house, despite being scared. She loves walks, even if she is a little nervous yet. She is happy to sleep on a dog bed all night or in a crate. Overall Nestle will be an incredible dog for someone. She's pretty easy, just needs consistency to build that trusting bond. She's also very happy to snuggle next to you on the couch. I think she's still Lee ring how to just be a dog, but what she's learned so far she very much likes.
