Hi! My name is Lima, my foster family likes to call me Lima Bean! I'm a very shy, but super sweet girl. My foster mom says I'm a whole different dog since I came on Saturday. I love to run, snuggle, and lick the little kids in the house. I love to follow the other two dogs that live here, I'm not quite sure how to play with them yet. I love my squeaky toys and toys to chew on! 
I am told I am doing very well with potty training and working on my crate training. I rather snuggle on the couch with one of the humans. 

I'll update more as I'm trying to figure stuff out 😊

I’d like to introduce my newest foster pup Tilly! She has been thought a lot in her short life and despite all of that she is the sweetest. She came from Missouri after having lived in the woods for months with her puppy and brother. After being picked up by animal control they were put on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Fortunately Brown Paws stepped in and saved them. This sweet girl deserves the best life has to offer. Tilly loves to go for walks and does well on a leash. She is learning what it's like to live a life of comfort and has found that her favorite place to sleep is cuddled up on the couch. She isn't able to handle being in a crate but is able to be left out in the house while we are gone and likes to watch out the front window. She has come a long way in the short time she has been here and would love a family to call her own.

Ami is a happy girl now that shes out of the mill. Ami was a puppy mill breeder mama, but is loving life on the 'outside'. She loves to watch other pups n loves other little dogs her size. Shes around 10 lbs. She takes a bit to warm up to humans, but I'm sure she was treated horrible in the mill n has to learn to trust humans . Probably for the first time in her 6 year life .

Can you believe Sally is still available? We really can not. Shes a beautiful, sweet girl!

UPDATED BIO 01/23/25 - Hey there! My name is Sally and I am a 1-ish year old Hound mix. I arrived here from Tennessee a few months ago now and have settled in great with my foster mom. She says I am incredibly sweet and affectionate and medium energy. I have been working really hard on my basic obedience skills since arriving to Wisconsin. I know quite a few tricks/commands now - I love food so training hasn't been hard! I catch on fast! I am kennel trained and potty trained. I have some serious FOMO when initially put into my kennel so I cry/howl a little but settle down fast. I am considered potty trained as long as I get outside around every 6-8 hours. I would thrive in a home that my people are around more often than not.

I love to snuggle and be with my people. They say I am more Velcro than not.. whatever that means! I just would love to spend as much time with you as I can since I have never had people to call my own before. I am great with my foster siblings, so I'd do well in a home with other dogs that like to play, run and wrestle! I do well with kids and am very gentle but sometimes am not aware of my size when excited so older kids would be better. Some things my future family should note - considering my breed I would do best with a fenced in yard, or at the very least leashed and supervised when I am outside. We are known to be barkers - so no apartments for me please!!! Hounds are also known to be roamers and very curious about their surroundings. We tend to have selective hearing when we get on the scent of something we think smells interesting. I would love to be able to chase those small critters and my neighbors cats that I see when outside if my foster mom let me. After all, I'm just doing what I'm bred for!
