Rugs are not true to size as they are meant to be, they are fitting slightly bigger than they should in measurements for example around the chest (as photo suggests)

Please to all the customers,
I know these rugs are not perfect, they are NOT what my design specifications are. They have faults, they quality is NOT what they are meant to be, they are usable still. I am selling them at COST PRICE- after paying per piece, shipping and handling, broker fees, import taxes, reinforced stitching to each rug, free shipping on big orders and whatever else I cant think of at the moment, I am not making a cent out of these rugs and trying to recoup my costs to either try again or give up I am not a big company but also try to keep my prices competitive. I don't wish to give up as I love my design and wish to see it being available to everyone but this being the 2nd manufacture not suppling what is required it makes it very hard to continue.
If you buy these rugs please know that these faults are there. It is so upsetting to receiving emails & messages implying that I have not been open and honest about these latest rugs.

Dara Designs will be away until the the start of May!
I have my last lot of shows for this show season. All Rugs that have been ordered will be sent off for the reinforcement stitch and be posted out as soon as I get back!
To those waiting on their prepurchased rugs- They are in Melbourne! Waiting to be told when they have been unpacked and ready to be delivered by the Broker.

I understand that it has been a long frustrating wait for those waiting on rugs….. I sincerely apologize!
They will get to you soon!!

It is with a heavy heart to tell my loyal and very much appreciated customers that the new shipment of rugs have yet again have not come close to my expectations of quality rugs for Darla Designs Rugs.
It is becoming very depressing for me to try so many times & yet not coming out trumps.
Good money paid for inferior materials and design flaws because suppliers don't wish to listen and just take your money is all I seem to get with trying to work with overseas. This by far the worst!
On top of that the importing charges & shipping costs tripling in price makes it very hard to keep going.
Unfortunately that means I must now sell what I have had just come in at COST PRICE or lower to move them on

I am very sorry to be writing this but these will be the last rugs available until such a time things change in the future.

Slowly but surely the new rugs are being made! Fingers crossed we are on the money! Looks like the end of the year is when they will arrive. I must say the orange does look flash!

‼️OPINIONS PLEASE!‼️
Our new manufacturer can not get our normal Turquoise Binding Colour. So we need to find another colour to replace the turquoise. Not using a colour already available.
What would you like to see on sizes- 3’9,4’6,5’6 & 6’3 that normally have that colour?

Great news for Darla Designs! We are working with a new supplier and are in the process of improving our designs!
We are looking into a few different materials to make them harder wearing and are eager to see the finished product but It is a long process, which means unfortunately it will be more than likely towards the end of the year until they are ready.
I will be only stocking VERY limited numbers this time round until more interest and demand is given. If you are interested in pre purchasing please get in touch so I can accommodate your needs in the process

I am still in the process of communicating with new manufacturers. As you can imagine things are very slow in communication. I am working as hard as possible to find the right company to work with. Samples being sent through shipping are unpredictable with times like it is just here in Australia. To all my customers I apologize profusely that I can not supply your orders this winter season but hope to see you back for next season’s orders.

I do still have stock in certain sizes that need to be cleared to make way for new and better quality rugs.

For all Darla Designs customers old and new,
Due to our high standards here at Darla Designs we have been forced to look for a new supplier who will meet the demands I set for quality not quantity. Unfortunately, recently we have not been happy with the quality of rugs that our supplier has been supplying. Personally I would love to be able to find a manufacturer here in Australia but unfortunately this is not a possible task unless I was to raise my prices enormously. So in order to keep prices at a minimum for my customers I will still need to import rugs of my design. This makes it very hard to be able to have stock restocked instantly. Unfortunately Darla Designs will not have new stock until a new supplier that meets our needs and expectations has been found. This many be a few months or more. I am very sorry to the people who have contacted me in regards to certain rugs & sizes not being able to meet your requirements and I hope to be able to meet them again soon! Please stay tuned for any updates!
