Meet Fritz.
I loved all the name suggestions but I've actually used a lot of them before and so for vet records, I have to use original names.
Fritz is driving me crazy with his constant meowing. 🙉 He is hopefully getting neutered next week and then it's decision time... you see Fritz is used to being an outdoor cat with freedom and doesn't like bothering with those stinky litterboxes so I don't think anyone wants him to be indoors. That means he either has to go to a barn home where he gets fed and shelter or I release him back to the business parking lot he came from. OF COURSE I want him to find a loving place to go but I also have so many cats waiting and TNR is all about fixing and returning to where he came from as long as he has shelter & is getting fed which he is. I know people will freak out but there's just soooooo many cats and not enough homes. That's why spaying & neutering is soooo important!
The turkeys are looking for a leader. So far it's Ziggy... 😆
Making friends... (volume up)
Captain Hook (I'm trying that name out in honor of his rescuer Duane Hook who got him out of a tree) is doing fantastic! He is not microchipped or neutered so he will get a work up this week.
New turkeys checking out the dog park.
LOKI is doing amazing! Yes he drools a lot but he LOVES getting brushed and really loves his breakfast! He makes me laugh so much. We are going to get him additional bloodwork and if his infection is subsiding then he will get his vaccines updated. His diarrhea is gone and he is on some probiotics. The sweetest mess ever! 💗
Well an update on Mr Loki. He is a neutered male Persian cat. And they can't fing anything wrong with his jaw or mouth but something must be going on. Could be that as a Persian he might have a genetic defect from overbreeding?? He is fighting an infection and has horrible diarrhea. He's got antibiotics and painkillers on board, so we will just be monitoring him for awhile.
Who's looking for some adult cats? I was at our local Petco (they partner with different rescues) and Whiskers Animal Rescue of Ohio have some sweet babies there. There is a buddy to Tigger 2.0 (this cat) and he is a long haired orange garfield kitty cat, but he was hiding. Go check them out and take them home. I heard this one and his buddy have been there for a couple months! 😭 Someone go give them a loving home!
'Shal' is a newly neutered male that just got fixed thanks to TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). No more fathering babies for this stud. Thank you Betty & Anna! It takes a village and spaying/neutering is our only way out of the feral cats problem. There are low cost spay & neuter clinics in most areas!
Come on... who doesn't want one of these fun little babies in their house?
These kids are crazy for their wet food! I have the can in my left hand so they know what that means... Supper time!
I have sooooo many kittens right now. Super friendly, all spayed/neutered, 1st round of kitten shots on board, FELV/FIV negative and dewormed. Adoption fee is $80 for one or $120 for two. With kittens, two are waaaaay better than one! 😻😻
