🔥 WOW, WHAT A WEEK!! 🔥

While we were busy teaching summer camp, Giavanna was out at the CGA State Show throwing down some incredible runs! She WON the Figure 8 Flags match race — meaning she beat EVERYONE at the show, including Hall of Fame riders, trainers, adults, and more! We couldn’t be prouder of her. If you’ve ever run F8F, you know how tough that event is. It takes serious skill from both horse and rider.

On Friday and Saturday, we hitched up and headed to the Gilroy Rodeo Kick-Off Barrel Race. Every one of our riders hit personal bests, and Danni brought home the Youth 4D buckle on Saturday! She joined our program just under a year ago and has made amazing progress with Shania.

Yes, we’re bragging a little (okay, maybe a lot), but how could we not? These students are putting in the work and seeing the results.

🏆 Barrel Racing Buckle Series 🏆

Get ready for one of the most exciting events of the year — our first-ever Barrel Racing Buckle Series is here, and YOU could be taking home a custom buckle!

🔥 How It Works:
Riders will be placed into divisions (1D–5D) based on their run times.
Points are awarded evenly across all divisions — for example, 1st place in 1D = 10 points, and 1st in 5D = 10 points.
The rider with the highest total points overall wins the BUCKLE!
🏁 Riders will be timed on the barrel pattern during regular lessons on the following dates:

August 25–29
September 8–12
September 22–26
✨ Whether you’re lightning fast or just getting started, everyone has a shot. It’s not just about speed — it’s about consistency, effort, and having a blast in the saddle.
