We haven’t shared much of these babies, but these two are officially 6.5 weeks old. These two were our first litter sired by Dobby and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how they are turning out 🤎

Happy August ☀️
We can’t believe that summer is almost over, it’s gone by way too fast! We have definitely enjoyed some nice hot weather and sun but we are really looking forward some cooler fall temperatures 🍂
The bunnies do much better in the fall months and we don’t have to worry so much about them getting too hot and overheating. We are very thankful for the A/C in our rabbitry though for the summer 🩵
•
Currently in the rabbitry, we’ve got 4 Holland Lop litters that are all doing great. Our keepers we held back from some spring litters are growing out and maturing nicely! We hope to add them to our program and to our fall show team 🏆
•
We do have a couple buns still available and ready to go to their new homes.

We weren’t 100% sure if Miss Evee took, but she kindled four little babies this morning on day 32 ♥
Unfortunately, one for sure looks to be a peanut, possibly two. It’s always sad when we get peanuts 😔 Fingers crossed for some more possibly show prospects!

Hello July 🍉
Long time no see!!
Summer 2024 is off to a great start, we are enjoying getting to spend more time with the buns. We really love hanging out with them outside during their play time on sunny days ☀️

We are super happy to have another litter in the rabbity, it feels like forever since we’ve had one.
Reign kindled two healthy little beans early this morning and made a wonderful nest, like always ❀
•
This litter is a little extra special. A little extra special because this is the first sired litter from our big chunky headed BEW Holland Lop buck, Ducky 🤍
We got Ducky in April from a wonderful breeder in Ontario, and we are absolutely thrilled to finally have babies from him ♥

We totally forgot to do our ‘June’ post, so here it is better late than never 😜
Currently, we only have 1 litter of three kits in the rabbitry, and as of right now all three babies will be kept back and grown out
All of our other babies from previous litters have been reserved or have went to their new homes. We do have 3 Holland Lop does due at the end of June ♥

These babies are absolutely precious ♥

We couldn’t be more happy with our third litter of WE babies.
This litter also happens to be Classics’, our homegrown Black WE, first sired litter in the rabbitry. He definitely didn’t disappoint 😍
The foster baby is doing super well and thriving too!
Which one is your favourite? We don’t like to play favourites but we may have one.. or two 🥰

Hello May 🦋
Bring on the warmer weather and sun ☀️ we are soo ready!
•
A few of our litters we were expecting in April did not go as planned or hoped 😔 Reign, Flip Flop & Cascade didn’t take sadly and were rebred and all due mid May.
Several other mammas had successful litters that are doing very well ♥
Rho • litter of 2
Chinook • litter of 4
Iza • litter of 3
•
Unfortunately, we lost both Ruby‘s litter of 3 and Evee’s litter of 5 😔 We ended up fostering two of Evee’s babies we were hopeful would make it.
When we placed the two fosters in with Iza we noticed that three of her babies had fallen out of the nest and didn’t survive, leaving only two remaining babies.
A few days later we lost one of the foster babies, but the remaining foster is thriving and doing very well with its new siblings 🩷
Iza is such a wonderful foster mamma. Foster moms are hard to come by so being able to have another in the barn, is fantastic.

What a great weekend!
We participated in our first rabbit show of the year put on by the Wild North Rabbit Club at the Valleyview Ag Grounds with 2 judges 🐰
•
This is our third show and we truly love the rabbit show atmosphere, the other breeders/exhibitors, the comrodery and of course spending time with the buns. We always learn more and more about our breeds and really good forward to working on our show buns ♡
We received lots of feedback and continue to look forward on bettering the breeds that we have.

We are super proud of Chinook, being an older doe and a first time mom, she did great! She made a wonderful nest, IN her nestbox and kindled 5 little beans 🤎
Unfortunately, we are pretty sure one is a peanut, which will only survive a few days at most. The remaining four look to be healthy. We are hoping for some magpies in this litter, fingers crossed🤞🏼
