A.R.N.T. is a small nonprofit group comprised of volunteers who dedicate themselves to rescuing, rehabilitating and placing dogs in loving homes.

Our dogs are in foster homes which allows us time to get to know their behavior patterns, if they are good with children and other animals and help with social development and house training which helps potential families make a better decision if a particular dog might might be a fit best for their family. Our adoption fees range from $125-$350. This fee helps cover the expenses such as such as v

accinations, heart worm testing/treatment, heart worm preventative, spaying/neutering, etc. which we invest to get the dog ready for adoption.

Our Story

Angels Rescue of North Texas (ARNT) was founded over 20 years ago by Betty Wiley who was disheartened by the number of dogs that were being abandoned at a local lake and the surrounding streets in South Dallas. She began picking them up one by one and taking them to the vet for the appropriate health care then searching for just the right home for them. An elderly man she met at the lake one day who had rescued his dog from there told her she was an “angel” for helping these dogs and that is how we came up with our name. Most of our dogs are still rescued from that area.

Our adoption fees range from $125-$350. This fee helps cover the expenses such as such as vaccinations, heart worm testing/treatment, heart worm preventative, spaying/neutering, etc. which we invest to get the dog ready for adoption.
