5-month-old Tucky is a playful feline who loves wand toys. Tucky likes to spend his days hanging out with his foster mom and watching cat TV. He is a sweet and affectionate fella who is easy to love.
Tucky was born outside and has tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLv). He is healthy and thriving, and will need an adopter who can provide the vet care needed to manage FeLv.

15-year-old Twinkles just joined our foster program and let’s just say she is a hot mess. 🥴 Twinkles has flea dermatitis from head to tail and desperately needs dental surgery.
We are working on healing Twinkles’ skin and clearing up a nasty ear infection while we wait for surgery. We hope to have her feeling and looking better in no time!
Twinkles is just one of many sick or injured cats that we’ve helped this year. Although it is costly to care for cats like Twinkles, we believe they deserve to live with dignity.

Our new friend from #Cumberland has been losing weight and having trouble eating, so our Community Cat team got to work trapping him for vet care.
This year, we have provided 20 dental surgeries to cats in our community. Routinely, dental surgery can be over $1,000 depending on the number of extractions and severity of disease.
We know that’s a high cost for any rescue or shelter, but the benefits are worth it. Dental care allows our felines to live a healthy and pain-free life — just like they deserve.

This afternoon, Ziggy returned to his foster home and immediately started exploring and getting lots of love from his foster parents. We are keeping a close eye on Zig and giving him the support he needs to continue thriving.

Four weeks ago, you helped Walter receive emergency surgery to remove a blockage. He spent five days in the ICU at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists receiving around-the-clock care.
Fast forward and Walter is doing amazing! His recovery has been uneventful, just the way we like it, and he has received all of his preventative veterinary care. Walter has a pesky heart murmur that we are getting checked out and then he will hit the adoption scene.

Despite the calming sound of Harvey's purrs, his journey has been a challenging one.
Following a brief 4-day stint at Bay State Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Services, he was discharged with hopes of healing at home. However, the pain caused by his mouth condition quickly thwarted his attempts to eat, leading to his readmission just 48 hours later.
In a crucial decision during this stay, we opted for an e-tube insertion, enabling longer-term tube feeding at home. Harvey bravely underwent the anesthesia-required surgery without a hitch, and now he receives supplemental nutrition while striving to eat independently. However, this second hospitalization incurred a cost of around $1,500.
We will continue to fight for Harvey’s health, but it comes at a cost. If you are in a position to donate, we would be exceptionally grateful for your support. Every dollar donated will help Harvey recover and no amount is too small.
