1. This animal originated in France during the 19th century.
2. In 1906 the French Bulldog was the fifth most popular dog breed in America.
3. The most common fur shade is brindle.
4. They are a brachycephalic breed, providing a signature flat face and short nose.
5. These dogs are usually considered very easygoing and playful!
One of our team members had a gut feeling someone she came across needed help, so she started the conversation. This client has four animals and was in desperate need.

Did you know today is World Chocolate Day? We will be having some M&Ms to celebrate but we won't be sharing them with our pets. Here's why:
Chocolate can be toxic to pets because it contains theobromine, a chemical similar to caffeine that can be poisonous to pets. Theobromine can cause pets' muscles, including their heart, to become overstimulated. Symptoms of chocolate poisoning in dogs can range from mild to severe, and can include:
Mild symptoms: Restlessness, diarrhea, vomiting, shaking, increased urination, increased or abnormal heart rate
Severe symptoms: Cardiac arrest, seizures, cardiac failure, death, vomiting containing blood, stomach pains, dehydration or excessive thirst, hyperactivity and excitability, drooling, high temperature and blood pressure
Other symptoms: Depression, tremors, coma

We will have our microchip scanner and can check to make sure your pet's microchip is still in place and that you have the correct number.

In 2015 a little pup named Bonnie came to CofK. It didn't take long for baby Bonnie to find her forever home (and her forever name: Casey!).
9 years later, she's still such a cute girl and adored by her family as much as ever.
Pets are family, and family is forever.
Adoption Pup-date!
Billy was adopted in 2016, he is still living the good life with his family. Thanks to his foster family (shout-out to the Walstads) and adoptive family for opening their homes to him so he could have a happily ever after.

Before coming to Corner of Kindness, June was a breeder dog, she still adores puppies to this day and we can see what a sweet and gentle mama she must have been to her puppies.

Bentley was named Jaime while with CofK. This bunny currently lives with two other dogs and loves running around in his big backyard!
Happy caturday! This is a cat-care package recently picked up by someone who was scammed and is now financially struggling as a result. It includes some wet food, some dry food, and some litter.

Happy national golden retriever day! We've adopted out some sweet goldens and golden mixes over the years! We'd love to hear how they're doing! This is June, she is still doing well and loves scenic walks.
