This is me at the beginning of the week... Is it Friday yet?
It's the weekend! Time to party!
“I wanted to tell you how grateful we are that Get Your Pet exists and that we found you. It allowed us to find a forever home for a wonderful little dog who we fostered after her owner passed away. She deserved to find someone to love her so she could love them back. We made a real love connection when a young family reached out to us on the site. It’s bittersweet because we grew so fond of her, but our feelings aside, we did what was best for the dog. She now has a wonderful forever home. We couldn’t have done this without you!” 🐶♥️

Meet Dooley, a two-year-old neutered Labrador Mix. "He needs a new home before he ends up in a shelter!
His guardian, Amber, says "I took in Dooley because my best friend’s mother couldn’t keep him after he jumped on her and she ended up with some injuries. He is not malicious; he just has a lot of energy. More so, he is not working out with my male dog and it’s beginning to take a strain on my mental energy and our household. I don’t want to just bring him to a shelter for fear he will be put on a kill list. He has potential to be a great dog! I am running out of options for him and fear if I don’t find a home for him soon, I will eventually have to surrender him to the humane society or something of the like."

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: Clementine is a petite little lady. She's 7 years old. And though she is tentative at first, once she gets comfortable with you, she loves nothing more than to cuddle on your lap. She grew up in a household with an older male cat who served as her playmate/guardian. When he passed away about 6 months ago, she seemed more lonely and in need of companionship. With a baby and an upcoming move, we are not in a position to adopt another cat to keep her company, but if you already have one who needs a friend, Clementine might just be your girl. Clementine is very sweet and affectionate. She has a nervous habit of over-grooming and picking small tufts of fur out of her coat. We've tried a lot of different suggestions, but we ultimately feel that someone who can spend more time with her might be able to soothe her out of the habit. We hope the right person will adopt her and make her happy.
