Christmas Eve boxes are well underway! 🎄🐶

If you haven’t paid a deposit to me you haven’t secured one I’m afraid. We may have a couple of spares but I could only order a few more than I had deposits as I couldn’t risk being left with so much stuff. It’s a really big outlay.

On that note I priced them wrong 🙈 anyone who has paid deposits I’m honouring the price of £10, many have actually paid me more so thank you ❤️

Last year they were £15 which helped me make a small profit to cover the time spent.

If anyone hasn’t paid the deposit and wants to be on the list for any spares let me know.

Cooper is looking for a loving home. He's 2 years old, vaccinations up to date and kennel cough. Not castrated yet . He's a beautiful boy, typical 2 years old so bouncy, loves his walks, he comes regularly to daycare and goes on daily walks with my hubby, his mum is a hardworking lady with 3 children and a full time job, she is doing everything for him to serve his needs but he needs more company. He loves coming to daycare playing with boo our rottie, he's great with all size dogs and listens to commands when you tell him. He's fabulous with children and other dogs. He's in the Merseyside area .

This month, I wanted to share a little reminder about the amazing work Animal Foodbank UK is doing. If you’re able, could you consider picking up an extra bag of dog food or a pack of treats on your next shop? Every little bit helps pets and their owners who are struggling. 🐾💖

Alternatively, if you’re finding it hard to feed your own furry friend, please don’t hesitate to reach out to them for support. No one should have to choose between feeding themselves or their beloved pet.

Leaving your furry friend with someone can feel stressful, but finding the right home boarder can make all the difference! 🐾✨ Here’s a quick guide to help:

Do you want to play, care for and cuddle man’s best friend? Whilst you will be walking for the most part, there’s always time for cuddles, it’s part of the job description 🤣

Due to one of our wonderful dog ladies moving closer to home, we’re recruiting to cover her position. She’s been an integral part of our team for just under 4 years.

Here at The Dog Lady, we are only content with offering the best service and dog walkers.

The main part of the job will include collecting dogs from their home and either walking them individually or in a group, both locally and on location (Beach etc). Hours are usually between 9am and 4pm with some evenings and weekends needed to carry out consultations and visits. You can expect to work between 4-6 hours per day.

You must;

✅ Be a dog lover with lots of patience
✅ Have experience with walking dogs
✅ Be confident walking dogs of all sizes
✅ Confident walking alone
✅ Able to pass DBS check
✅ Own your own car
✅ A full driving licence
✅ Live locally to St Helens
✅ Be able to take photos on walks
✅ Have good communication skills
✅ Be physically fit
✅ Able to handle up to 4 dogs on/off lead

Advantageous;

We are looking for EXCEPTIONAL, trust worthy, reliable, dog loving people to join us. You must be happy to work outside, in all elements, ☔️ or ☀️, and you must be excited about dog walking. We are not your bog standard dog walkers, we are all about canine enrichment and strive to offer doggy adventures that improve their lives.

I’m really proud of our staff retention here at The Dog Lady. All of our walkers are long term and more like family. We only want people to join if they are in it for real, no stop gaps please as our dogs become attached.

We will be obtaining references and carrying out a DBS check to cover you on our insurance. You will also need to complete a pet first aid course which we can facilitate.

This is a self employed position so there isn’t an hourly rate, you will earn an amount per walk “usually” between £20-40. You will be responsible for your own petrol and other costs associated including tax. To discuss money please get in touch.

No CV is required but you must be able to explain why you’re suitable for the role and meet the above criteria.

The role will include training and support whilst you get up and running. We aim to have you ready to work during December for training.

‼️Please do not apply if you’re not a driver with a suitable car, that is ESSENTIAL. This role absolutely needs a car to pick multiple dogs up and transport them to places including the beach. It will need to be legal to transport dogs (dog guard or crates). Our cars also get mucky‼️

Happy birthday Poppy! 🎂

I can’t believe I almost missed this post 🙈 I got sidetracked (as per).

Poppy is the dog I’ve known the longest, from the first day she came home to now, almost 6 years later ❤️

She’s most definitely family to me and loves me and my kids like her own (that’s a big thing for Poppy).
