🚨‼️ URGENT: Emergency Foster Needed for Marquesas (Luna)! 🚨‼️

Luna is a fun-loving, energetic pup who needs a temporary foster home ASAP! She’s sweet, goofy, and absolutely loves toys and treats. She enjoys snuggles on her own terms and is always up for an adventure.

What makes Luna special?
🐾 Loves to chase toys (even her own tail!)
🐾 House-trained and knows sit, paw, and stay
🐾 Good with kids
🐾 Crate-trained (but prefers not to be left alone in a locked crate)
🐾 Has lived around chickens with no issues

Foster Home Needs:
🚫 Best as the only dog (she’s unsure around other dogs but has played well with some for short periods)
🐱 Unknown with cats

🩵Aspen Update🩵

Aspen had his amputation and neuter earlier this week!!

He is healing well and has spent the last few days at the vet’s office due to having drainage tubes!

His amazing foster has stopped by multiple times to check on him and even brought him a treat today 🥹

He has also taken to one of the vet techs at Naperville Animal Hospital!😍

He walked in and out of the room today ALL BY HIMSELF🥰🥰

We are so grateful to all that have helped us in giving this handsome boy a second chance at life🩵🐾

‼️🩵Aspen Update🩵‼️

As of 2/11/2025 Aspen has gone in to have amputation surgery!

For those that are following this handsome boy you may know that he was set for euthanasia yesterday at 10am😭 We were lucky enough to find an AMAZING temporary foster where he spent the night being loved on last night!🥰

For those of you who haven’t met this handsome boy let us introduce him!

Aspen is a sweet 3 year old boy who’s had a rough start at life. He was brought in by a stranger to Joliet Township Animal Controll who said they had found him, turns out they were the owner. Unfortunately we do not know what led up to this moment and how it was came to be. We hope it was a hard decision for the owners to leave this sweet boy.

Aspen has squamous cell carcinoma and is Heartworm positive. 😣Unfortunately he is completely shut down. He is attempting to make himself as small as possible, completely depressed, in pain, stressed and we can’t imagine what else!😭

We are grateful for Joliet Township Animal Control for taking such great care of Aspen and getting him into the publics eyes so we can find him!!

Today Aspen has gone in to have amputation surgery so he can start feeling some relief!!

This is just the beginning of what is unfortunately going to be a long journey for Aspen. We are so grateful to the foster who stepped up to take him temporarily while we find someone to take on his care till adoption. Unfortunately his journey is going to be a pricey one for Rescued Rascals so we are asking for your help!!

We have had so many amazing humans who pledged money as well a local business Not Another Pizza Joint offering to fundraise for us, as well as Live Like Roo Foundation sponsoring his amputation!🥹
