Hello to my wonderful friends and clients. I have an important announcement to make. I have come to the difficult decision to shut down Jem's pet sitting in animal Services. Starting September 20th 2022. I have truly loved making such deep connections with all my animal friends and clients. I am so thankful to all my amazing clients. I am one of the lucky few who can say I truly loved my job and will miss every one of you.

I first started dog walking and In-home pet sitting in 2010. Along the way, I became insured and licensed, and my business slowly grew to what it is today. I made many memories and now have many stories to share: funny, embarrassing, heartfelt, and even sad ones.

I'd like to take a moment to thank all my clients, old and new. Without your support, I would have never been as successful as I am. I will miss each and every one of you. I'll miss my early mornings and late nights. My long drives and last-minute phone calls, I'll even miss my sleepless nights and all the cleaning... So much cleaning.

Thank you for the drooly kisses, endless cuddles and fur I will continue to find on my clothes. I've shared laughter and tears with many of you. Thank you for everything.

It's time I start a new chapter in my life, I'll always be available to chat via email or Facebook, and I'm happy to offer advice whenever possible. I hope many of you will keep in touch, as I love to hear about and see photos of your furbabies, scaly babies and feathery babies.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I will miss my friends, both human and animal.

Oh my goodness, I have just started working with a new client today, and once I finished filing them into my business program, I got an alert... I just reached 100 clients!!! WOW, I had no idea!! Owning, running and managing my business with 100 different clients is amazing to me!! I think drinks are in order this evening!!!

Thank you to all my current and past clients for helping me achieve this. I love my job, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to share my love and friendship with so many.

Please join me in welcoming another absolute doll to our animal friends family. Luna is a sweet girl who always greets me at the front door, she reaches her little paw out to me everytime I come in. She's not one for cuddles but she is adorable in her own way. Welcome to Jems animal friends baby girl.

First basic groom since I've been ill, I have to say it went really well. It of course helps that my client was so well behaved. She played and played so when it came time for her groom she was falling asleep on the table.

Welcome Louna to our Thursdays puppy daycare. She's eager to learn and loves to run and explore all the new sights and sounds. We are so happy to have you little one.

If you've got a new puppy and are looking for some controlled socializing and training reach out to us, we offer full day daycare every Thursday and half-days on Monday and Fridays. Taxi included within our service area.

I would like you to join me in welcoming a new friend. Louna is a sweet Golden doodle and she's going to be joining Jems pack. Today was absolutely wonderful, met two new friends Louna and Millie (pictures soon), had a lovely sunny walk with my best girl Maisy and then got in another sunny walk with my two cuties Marra and Geordie. Everyone soaked up the sun and had a great time.

Our first half-day daycare, was a complete success. All dogs were playful and loved bounding around in the snow. Brandy and Bandit made a new friend, Henry, and now reports from puppy parents say the pups are tired and happy.

Jems Pet Sitting & Animal Services is Now offering spots for dog walking and drop-in visits.
Do you ever find yourself worried about your pets left home alone while you're out at work all day? Do you ever wonder if they are lonely? Getting into trouble? I am the relief you're after. Whether you would like your pup to be let out for a quick 10 mins-15 mins visit or to go for a long walk. Prices range from $15-$30 depending on your location. Discounts apply to multi-dog households. We also offer pack walks or private walks on our property, we will discuss what times and days work best for you and your pup(s). We pick up your pup(s) bring them back to the property, exercise their bodies and minds and return them home relaxed and ready for a nap. If you have a day full of 'zoom' meetings or appointments booked we can have your pup(s) out the house and give you peace of mind while you deal with whatever you need to deal with. Now offering puppy manners classes when you book an adventure playdate, we will teach your puppy basic obedience and other important things such as, not rushing through doors and gates, recall training, learning patience and desensitizing for grooming, vet visits and emergency situations. Good morning pet parents, I am happy and excited to announce I will be starting up my business again, slowly. For now, I am focusing on dog walking and drop in visits. I feel comfortable that I will soon be back to my old self and prepared to have my old clients back and welcome new clients into our ever-growing family. As it turns out I just can't keep away form my animals friends any longer and miss their antics dearly. I am looking forward to getting back on my feet. Can't wait to see you soon.

Hello my wonderful clients and friends, I have an important announcement to make. It is with great sadness that I am closing Jems pet sitting and Animal Services. I have truly loved making such deep connections with all my animal friends and clients.

Without going into too much detail, due to my health, I am no longer able to provide a reliable service. It frustrates me to no end to have poor health and not be as fit as I once was.

I'd like to take a moment to thank all my clients, old and new, I will miss each and every one of you. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share endless cuddles and laughter with your pets, and sometimes yourselves.

Please note, if you are currently booked for a service with me, that will not change. I am however not able to take on any new clients. I pray in the future I will be able to rebuild my business once again and I will see my loving wonderful clients and pets.

My other two new friends both Siamese kitties, so talkative and curious. Even though the darker faced one of fully blind he chose to find me and fall asleep in my lap, we've only just met today. Oh my heart.

It's a hot day today, but that doesn't stop the pups from wanting to run and play. Sometimes we have to advocate for them, never feel bad about stopping the play. They may just need a little laydown in the shade and some cool water. But sometimes we have to know when to call it, and go inside 'to lay on an AC vent'. They can always go back outside and play after a rest. We have to be aware of the signs and know what to do if we suspect heatstroke.

Well it's been an interesting 4 months since we came back to Canada. Work has been slowly building and I'm meeting lots of new clients and friends. I am happy to say my drop in services are the busiest they have ever been. Anyway, this is a quick post to welcome some new faces to Jems Family
