Our Beautiful Queen Tia
Oh Tia đ Iâm not sure how I can even write this. While our hearts are broken đ you my beautiful girl are no longer suffering. We did everything we could to heal you and make you well. Your FIP medicine will arrive tomorrow, you fought so hard to hold on but this morning your little lungs and heart just couldnât anymore. Seeing you laying in bed with Kevin this morning propped on my pillow to help your breathing broke our hearts. Neither of us wanted to leave you, but had to. I prayed the whole way to work for God to end your suffering if he wasnât able to heal you. Wendy came to stay with you till we could get you into Dover at 10:30 but we didnât need that appointment because you took your last breath laying in Wendyâs arms. She covered you up till we could get home. You looked so peaceful, just like you were sleeping only with no more pain or struggles.
It is so different tonight, we arenât mixing special food up, cooking chicken livers, force feeding you and doing SubQ fluids like weâve done for the past three weeks.
Tonight we sit here sad for your passing but grateful for picking you up on May 20th saving you from living outside alone at just 3 weeks old. You gave us so much joy the past 7 months. You were always waiting to curl up on someoneâs lap. You left the grandkids carry you around, they all loved you too.
When you started hiding on November 23rd I thought it was odd, you never hid. Then you didnât have an appetite, but you always loved your wet food in the morning. So when you wouldnât eat and I didnât find your little mouse in the dry food dish I knew something was wrong. Then came the seizures. A visit with Dr. Dan showed you had a fever and your bloodwork was off. We hoped the seizures were from the seizure and infection and that seemed to be true as we didnât see anymore. Four days later you fever had come down some, you bloodwork was about the same but you continued to lose weight and now weighed only 3lb 7oz., le

Scooter Update:
Today Scooter had his appointment to see Dr Rick at Dover Area Animal Hospital and have his blood tested.
As you all know Scooter is in really rough shape and we were anticipating his blood work to be rough, but to our surprise today it was better than anticipated. He is anemic, and cancer could be a concern but Scooter is improving đ
He has put on some weight since coming in Saturday night, and he is moving around better! His vet feels he has a fair chance to a recovery if we can get his anemia cleared up. Because of his calcium being slightly high cancer could still be on the table, however he is not strong enough to go through that testing, and because we have some progress it's not needed at this time.
He will continue on his treatment plan of food, love, and very close monitoring for the next 4 weeks and then he will follow up again to repeat his blood tests to make sure he is improving.
Thank you so much to all of our supporters for helping him raise funds for his care today, Scooter couldn't have had everything he needed without amazing people like all of you who shared and donated to help us raise the $526 for his vet visit today đ
Scooter still has a lot of care ahead of him, so please keep sharing his story and donate if you can, every $1 helps!
Thank you for helping us provide Scooter the love and support he needed in his life đ

We would like to start this post by saying thank you! I posted on my personal page and tagged our founder a wishlist of supportive care food and supplements needed for this beautiful senior gal. Hailey came into my care at 3lbs 12 ounces and severely dehydrated. She over the first several days had seemed to have gotten beyond the dehydration and increased to 4lbs 5 ounces. Then she began declining and exhibiting signs common with malnourished cats. She began vomiting every portion of food and became dehydrated again. When severely malnourished proper nutrition can often cause stomach upset while the gut is recovering itself. Gentle foods, supplementing hydration and gentle on the stomach calories are needed to help recovery. So even though she is an older girl, kitten mousse, kitten formula added to her food and hydration supplements along with baby food will help her to gain nutrition while being gentle on her gut. Only a few hours after requesting help with getting the items needed, you our amazing supporters came through and as of now she has everything needed to help. She unfortunately lost 1.5 ounces due to refusing to eat and being sick. I am glad to say she has surpassed the 24 hour mark without any regurgitation. She is being fed a slurry of baby food and hydracare, as well as kitten mousse and kitten milk with a calorie boosting gel in small intermittent meals several times a day. She is getting back on track and is feeling well enough to demand attention from my son. From the bottom of our hearts Hailey, her foster family and Feline Solutions thank you for your support.
Come out to Petsmart York Loucks Road Location from now until 4pm and see the adoptable kitties đ¸
