Feline Solutions is a Non-Profit, no kill rescue located in York, Pa. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats/kittens that are abandoned and neglected. We are an all volunteer based rescue and work from our homes. We have in our care over 100 cats at a time, who are all waiting their forever homes. We offer education and support to the community to enrich the lives of all cats. We are immensely pa
ssionate about spaying and neutering to reduce overpopulation. Since 2012 we have spayed/ neutered over 20,000 cats. We rescue and adopt out hundreds of cats each year.
Momma Goose is between 1-3 years old and an affectionate loving girl. She's the purrfect lap kitty and loves to lay with you and get lots of chin scratches.
She's fixed, UTD and has been looking for her forever home for several months, but unfortunately hasn't gotten a single app. This beautiful girl even nuzzles in for hugs when you hold her.

Cocoa and Snow White are at Carlisle Petsmart. They just arrived today. They both are shy at first but very friendly once they get settled in. If you are interested in meeting them stop by Petsmart in Carlisle.
Jack is available for adoption. He is very chatty. Loves to be held and will follow you around. Jack was rescued from a bad situation. He would do best as an only cat. He doesn't seem to mind kittens.

Samson is FIV or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive. Here's a little more about that:
🐈What is feline immunodeficiency virus? It is similar to HIV in humans (BUT NO, HUMANS CANT CATCH THIS!). It's a life long virus that attacks and weakens the immune system.
🐈How do cats get FIV? Through bite wounds from an infected cat (saliva to blood transfer) or it can be sexually transmitted as well as transmitted across the uterus during pregnancy.
🐈Is there a cure for FIV or treatment course? No, there is no cure for FIV. You're FIV cat may present symptoms due to low immune system that your vet can help you manage but there is not treat to cure for FIV
🐈How can I help an FIV positive cat? Make sure your FIV positive kitty is receiving bi-yearly vet visits to ensure your vet is keeping a close look out for symptoms to stop other illnesses like infections or colds as quickly as possible. Keep your FIV kitty on a good quality diet and avoid raw diets.
🐈Can an FIV positive kitty be in a home with other kitties? Ideally it's best for FIV kitties to be in a single cat or already FIV positive household, however FIV kitties can coexist with non FIV kitties as long as fighting between the two kitties doesn't occur, and food bowls are kept separately.

So many of these animals have a story to tell. Skeeter's was one of abuse, abandonment and trauma. A hideous story found in the scary parts of fairytales. Our Tuxedo Prince fought against the terrors that found him while waiting for his happy ever after. I will not go into depth of his sad beginning today as it has been shared in depth. Today we focus on a kind fair maiden and her human prince being so taken with our resilient Skeeter that he is being taken home to rule his kingdom and has found his new beginning. We love you Skeeter and are all so proud of how far you have come. We send you with love to the next chapter and your happy ever after.
Samson is available for adoption. He is very sweet. If you are looking for and snuggle kitty he would be a great addition.

Laverne (gray calico) & Shirley (brown, black, white calico). These pretty ladies are very laid back. They enjoy snuggling, relaxing, jingle balls and laser toys.
They are both approx a year and would prefer to stay together. They came to us abandoned in a backpack, but they have not let that sour their opinion of people.

A Cats Bedtime Story 🌙 😴
Tonight Billy was told a bed time story, and he's dreaming it will one day come true.
As he was tucked snuggled into his bed his foster mommy told him a story of a Happy Ever After. She told him the tale of a kitty just like him that had been abandoned just as he had and had gone through surgery and treatment and rescue placement...just like he had...
She told him of how that kitty went to an adoption event and found his happy ever after family that loved him till the end of time.
She then told Billy that tomorrow was his turn, that he was going to the Happy Ever After Adoption Event and that he has a chance to meet his Happy Ever After family.
Billy fell fast asleep with the thoughts of a loving forever home and a family to love forever and call his own dancing through his head.
Tomorrow Billy will attend the Happy Ever After Adoption Event, please share and spread the word and come visit Billy, he is excited to meet you ✨️ 🩵

More about Billy: Billy was abandoned outside in York city and was found on a good Samaritans porch yelling for help. He had a horrible ear infection pouring out of his ear and a tumor in his ear that has since been surgically removed. Billy is the sweetest boy (see video in the comments on this post) who gets along with everyone, cats, dogs, kids, everyone!

Gremmie is just a little guy. He overcame so much in being found at 4 weeks old. He struggled with tapeworm and roundworm, he was only 7 oz when we pulled him and his brother out of the drain pipe he was abandoned in for at least 3 days without food or water. He is getting healthier, and is parasite 🪱 free. He weighs 1.12oz! I am so thrilled for him!! ☺️

Time for Greta’s check up with Dr Dan! She has been better since starting steroids every other day with the Clindamycin. She sure doesn’t like all that dog noise! 😂
It’s been a moment since I’ve posted Greta so here is a cute video to start your morning 💕🐾💕 We did go ahead and start the prednisone this past Friday and are doing it every other day. She seems to be better but unknown if it’s from three weeks of antibiotics or the prednisone. She is still very tiny, only 1lb. 1.4oz at 7 weeks old. We have a follow up with Dr. Dan on Wednesday and will know more then. While we are away, she will be spending the two weeks with Wendy and her husband to be sure she gets her feet in every day. Last evening was a very happy time as she did go to the dish and ate a tiny bit from the dish. Celebrate!
Got 4 spicy babies in last night, these sweet babies have eye infections, upper respiratory infections, and horrible ear mites (and likely parasites, waiting on fecal results to determine what). Had they been left on their own outside they likely wouldn't have made it to 6 months (75% of cats born outside don't). But now they will be cared for, socialized, and then adopted to Homes once ready 🩵 Want to help kitties like these?
